These are great, much better than the other gloves I had. I don't know if I'd grab something that is 662F, I grabbed my wok during seasoning and the IR thermometer read 475 and I started to feel heat pretty quick... (but the thing is the heat rises quite evenly so you see it coming instead of all of a sudden getting hot and making you drop something like other gloves). It allowed me enough time to maneuver the pan as I wanted to without rushing or dropping it which is what I was after. I feel like if I grabbed a pan that was 662 degrees it would probably afford only a second or two before it burned. Maybe I'm wrong though, but I'm not going to test it on something that hot haha. In any case, they are effective, the construction was good (i flipped them inside out and they seemed well sewn. I think it could use about an inch more on the wrist length and maybe a charcoal colored fabric because they are going to look dirty fast... but that is just nitpicking.

Works great for heat protection. I would like a simple modification, sew the inner liner to the outer shell at the tips of the fingers so when you pull your hand out the inner liner doesn't come with it.

heat comes thru more than my Ove Gloves

These gloves rule. I needed new ones after my old ones caught on fire when I went to pick up a coal basket filled with blazing lump charcoal.These are comfortable, they grip well, and they work well. I have used them inside with the oven to pick up pyrex casserole dishes as well as cast iron and stainless steel pots that have been in the oven at 400 degrees. I've also used them outside on the grill. They handle hot grill grates and coal baskets just fine. I'm not sure that they're rated to withstand that kind of heat for long, though, so I work fast when I have to handle that sort of thing.

The person I purchased these for was thrilled as he had previously read and heard about them. The weather has prohibited him from using just yet but it made a great gift.

Love the gloves they work perfectly in the kitchen and fireplace. Fast delivery in time for Christmas. Gloves were perfect size for both me and my husband.

I have small hands and I can use these. They are great for pots and pans on the stove, oven trays, etc. Do not have a grill right now but have no doubt they would protect my hands from the heat of a grill. For me these are much easier to use than the old mittens. And they work. Just heed the warning and do not use wet (for example, they cannot protect you from boiling water).

This is a great product! I purchased a similar product and it was not as advertised. The glove quickly came apart at the seams, and burnt my hand when I used it. This product is the real deal and makes a great gift! I purchased one for myself, but I plan on buying several and giving them to friends and family. I highly recommend this product. The package was sent quickly too.
