Looked nice but screen didn't work.

The Hiwatch looks nice; however, it was a gift, so I am not able to give a review. It was a gift for a School Administrator. They love the look of the watch but have not had time to use it.

This is a cool little smartwatch, but it has its pros and cons.Pros:- the quality of the materials is good. The rubber band is not cheaply made, and I like that the face is a durable metal w/glass.- the screen is very clear- it has a camera that takes clear pictures and videos- it has enough apps to be a very functional smartwatch- the bluetooth connects pretty easily to your smartphone, and once connected, you can play music through the smartwatch or control phone callsCons:- the touchscreen function is hard to use. Either touch is not recognized, or when it is, the items are so small that you always ending pressing the wrong things- it does not have a heartrate monitor- the camera points out and away from you. At first glance, you'd think it were facing you if you wanted to take a selfie or self-video, but there's no way to do that because the camera is facing outwards- there is no way that I can find to reorganize the apps- moving around from app to app is very confusing. The "home" button is not very intuitive and is nothing like a home button like on an iPhone- there are brief instructions in English, which are too basic w/grammatical errors that make them unusableOverall, while it's conceptually a pretty cool smartwatch, especially for the money, this isn't a smartwatch that I'm willing to wear everyday. Ended up giving it to my 13 year daughter. I received this watch at no cost in order to test and review it. It works well and has some cool functions, but it also has a few minor issues which I find annoying.PROS:* Very good quality camera* Good screen resolution for a watch* Can take videos or photos* Can choose photo and video quality* Lots of functions* Can take a sim card to function as a phone.* Can connect to phone but not dependant on phone for most functions* Comfortable* Has 8 gigabytes of storage.* Music player is very nice. Can hold a lot of songs.CONS:* This watch randomly turns itself on every minute or so. You can not keep the screen off.* The default clockface has an image of a a butterfly on it (see photo). I don't always want a big blue butterfly on my wrist. Even if you change the clock image it goes back to the butterfly when the watch turns back on (which is almost every minute, see above).* High resolution pictures do not properly save.* Video has very low fpsOverall, I do not wear this watch as often as I'd like because it constantly turns itself on, and no matter what settings I change there is always a big blue butterfly on my wrist.
