The cealing I used this Trowel on was a vaulted hip roof. This Trowel adjusted to the weird angles I needed. With this I may never use a fixed corner Trowel again.

I have a 15 sided house so all the angles are all over the place. While I will always default to my 90* trowels for perfect corners, this tool was invaluable in my recent renovations.

Did the job what we were after. Only 4 stars as touch up work was required after use. Note this is not as sturdy as a set trowel like a 90 degree and if pushed too hard to obtain a clean run the tightener would give a little regardless of how tight. So lighter runs with touch up needed.

For odd angles on dry wall, this tool works great. I cannot imagine how to make a good joint without such a tool (I am sure the pros have their secrets). On the downside, my tool had a couple of annoying flaws. First, the edges of the metal plates were not sufficiently finished; they had really sharp edges and I ended up with cuts on my fingers. Secondly, the tool came wrapped in a cardboard sleeve that had been glued onto the business sides of the metal plates. I gave up trying different solvents to clean off the glue and ended up scraping it off with a single-edged razor. Waste of good time.
