Awesome quality glove that is great for promoting two handed ...
Awesome quality glove that is great for promoting two handed fielding/catching! The quality is so good it should last multiple years with a lot of use. Planning on this to be my two year olds first tee-ball glove as well, but make note the finger holes are made to fit an adult hand and this fits mine perfectly (I wear a medium size batting glove and medium/large golf glove to give you an idea). My older boys who use 11" and 11.25" game gloves love fielding with it. I may have to buy another just to keep them from arguing about who can use it Haha.I've recommended it to several other little league dads and those that have pulled the trigger have not been disappointed. Great job Mizuno, but then again I shouldn't be surprised....always good quality stuff!

Little League Infielder's Glove
This should be the first glove for every kid. The intended purpose of this training glove is to help infielders develop throwing and receiving skills. This glove was designed to fit an adult hand but is easily maneuvered by my 8 year old. You will be hard pressed to find a real leather glove in a smaller size, Walmart "pleather" gloves excluded. I wanted my kid to have a glove that they could grow with and at 9 inches this glove can. Day one this thing fit my kids hand perfect. Most kids in little league are carrying around giant old softball gloves from their Dads'. The size of those old gloves make them very difficult to maneuver and can actually inhibit learning to catch the ball properly (think Porsche vs 57 Buick). This glove can also be passed down to younger siblings as the leather is top notch and with proper care will last for years. Break in time was minimal and took a couple of weeks, but was done the right & old fashion way of just using it. No microwaving or oven aided break in methods were used. After two seasons the glove is in great shape, it fits my kid's hand perfectly and looks brand new. Being a Japanese glove maker Mizuno is not as popular as Wilson, the industry leader and my personal favorite, but their product quality is just as good. I looked but did not see where Wilson offered 9 inch glove. Rawlings makes a similar glove but past experiences have taught me to stay away from them. Mizuno is not even comparable to Nokona, Easton, Louisville Slugger and other second tier glove manufacturers. This is a quality product and worth the $50 I spent to get it.

GREAT glove!
Great glove that he will have forever. My first glove was a hand me down from my Dad and it was bigger than my head. I remember going down to field grounders and coming up "empty handed...." literally! Or trying to catch a pop fly and having the ball knock my glove off! This is perfect for my 7 year old. Just had to work it in a bit so his little hands could squeeze. He loves it and I couldn't be happier.

Great First Glove
I bought this glove for my 6 year-old's coach pitch season. I used a glove mallet to break it in over the winter, and I also made a few new holes and re-laced the wrist to give it a more snug fit on a little hand, and it worked awesome. He struggled early on closing it, but he's now one of the better fielders on his team. The quality is great, so he will be able to adjust the wrist and use this glove well into his teens.

Great Infield Beginners Glove
This is a great beginners glove! Both my sons started using this glove in little league, at the age of 7. They are both considered the best infielders. I think this glove was an excellent choice for a young player learning to handle the ball and helped with having quick hands. Very satisfied!

Awesome!
Before purchasing a trainer glove I wanted to find one that could last me a long time. Through continual research I found that this Mizuno would be the best choice. I recieved the glove today and am very pleased with it so far. I will be honest and say that I was expecting a better leather and the leather used, to me, is similar to superskin. Another down side is the tight squeeze for my hand. You have to keep in mind that is it still meant for training and not a glove that is recommended for game type scenarios. Other than those two semi- dissatisfactions I am very pleased with the glove.
