Denying Denial is Accepting Untruth
A title is a context in which a narrative is understood. It's interesting when a story is told in a way such that the narrative context frequently shifts with the narratives of each relationship. Denial is an appropriate title. The premise is that, after a protagonist, Art, suggests at a dinner party of three happily married (or soon to be) heterosexual couples, that monogamy is a myth and it's practice is morbid and a setup for betrayal of trust. The first scene telegraphs the plot, like a morality play. Shakespeare was good at that but it's a style that requires a lot of wit and virtuosic delivery, the women in this film deliver. Rifkin's story would be more exciting if directed by a Von Trier or Verhoeven; music and sound design more effective.

Something About Relationships
This is a fun little movie but nothing spectacular. It's a standard movie about the diffrent types of relationships and the levels of sexual freedom in those diffrent types. I enjoyed the many diffrent opinions and views of these relationships. And the amazing and very HOT scene with a favorite actress of mine Hudson Liek! Who has been a favorite of mine since her Calisto days and has shown her great acting skills in a number of movies but is clearly not recognized for her talents. But Hudson aside the movie is worth watching on boring Saturday night for a few hot scenes and a lot of bouncing around from one couple to the next.

Find Something Else to watch
There was quite a bit of fatphobic commentary, painting fat women as grotesque. A man is referred to as "retarded" and they paint the women as liars, irrational and cheaters while Patrick Dempsey is the lone good guy, and while I'm a fan and he IS the reason I rented it, I wish I'd read some reviews first. I'm easy to entertain and I watched it all the way through looking for a redeeming ending. Not to be had. Terrible movie...and I really don't like giving bad reviews. But please, save your time.

You Won't Believe Your Eyes...Not Both of Them Anyway!
You will recognize almost everyone in this film and I don't think it ever even made the big screen. This is one of those pictures that became a cult classic on cable and video. If you're not yet a Hudson Leick fan-and if you're not, we'll send a few of the boys around to speak wit youz-buy this now because when it finally hits network TV, her entire role will be in the program director's VCR, not on your screen. I have no idea why they changed the name from Denial to Something About Sex but I can only imagine that it was...and still is...too hot to handle. I've never seen such a classy combination of sex and humor and, as a licensed private detective, I am compelled by law to give it 5 Stars.

Something About Infidelity
This movie was very entertaining. A writer inplants the obsessions of infidelity to three seemingly happy couples. It leads onto a road of self havock. A great representation of the taboo thirsts in all of us. Some characters you love, some you hate, some you sympathize with others just disgust you. Even big man Ron Jeremy make a funny cameo while at the "office", if you know what I mean. Only disappointments were the full screen format and the mono sound. Overall a good flick.

A dog's breakfast of comedy.
This film was DOA by the time it was released, and time has done it no features. Simplistic and simple minded, a string of cliches from one end to the other. At 20" I turned it off. Even Jason Alexander could not save this mother. I'm surprised that he has not bought all the copies and burned them.

Yes,the scene with Hudson Leick is worth buying this video!!
Let me make this perfectly clear, the only reason why I even heard of this movie, rented this movie and ultimatly bought this movie was because of the infamous sex scene with Hudson Leick AKA Callisto to Xena fans. And yes,the scene is really, really good and yes,Hudson Leick is really, really sexy!If you're an admirer of Hudson Leick/Callisto(which 9 out of 10 you are if you're checking out this review)then buy this video as it is extremely rare. She is not credited on the box cover nor in the opening credits, but you will find her name at the end.If you can buy this movie for a good price, then do so!
