The gate overall is sturdy, attractive and perfect for the space and what we needed it for. Our little dog loves being able to see us and we like that it is easy to open and close and if needed, the keep the door open with freedom for him to go in and out. Now as far as setting up the gate, there is one thing to be aware of. - Do not undo the orange zip tie thing around the gate holding the plastic door. Be sure when you install to keep that strap on until it is fully set up and pressure locked. We did not and it was a lot harder keeping the gate in place to install. My husband thought the gate was initially broken because of the way it was opening while off the wall. - However once the gate is pressure locked in place on the wall the door will easily open and close. To open just push the button down, pull straight up and pull the door out. The instructions weren’t super clear on that. So I wanted to be sure to mention that. I am someone who reads every review before making any kind of purchase. So I thought I would bring that up! Overall we are super happy with our purchase! (We had tried so many other gates, and either the gates were too short, did not have an opening door option, gate bars were too wide and our little guy was able to slip through or one of the gates we had was a retractable gate and he was able to slide out underneath. Or the gate just was not able to stay on the wall and would come undone on one side or the other.) This gate however is super well made, but also it is not an eyesore. It is much heavier than any of the previous gates we have owned, so it definitely takes two people to get out of the box and set up. We love that this gate offers the 3M holders too. It is definitely pricey compared to any previous gates we have had, but in our opinion it is worth every penny. 5 out of 5!

This baby gate held firm with all three of my large dogs and one small regularly pushing against it. I had four identical gates at the top of the stairs in my last rental house and didn’t have an issue with any of them.It’s a beautiful gate, super easy to use, to where kids could figure it out, and it held to the walls with tension so no screws to damage the walls and it’s very adjustable in size so it fits all my doorframes and hallways.This is the one baby item I recommend to everyone as a must, and now that we’re expecting our first child, it is the only item that we are bringing over from the mainland and carrying back to Hawaii since it doesn’t ship here.I know that this gate will protect our kid from our dogs, where as others I’ve never been able to rely on.

Is a very nice gate love the fact that is acrylic and looks like glass but is not to strong I have to keep putting the door in the right place I keep it because I don’t want a metal or fabric gate

Wanted to find a baby gate, that also did not become an eyesore in the home. Qdos deserves all the praise for this Clear Baby Gate! I bought 5 of them! Closed off my kitchen, stairs, and office room, and the compliments that we get on these gates are far more than we get on our new remodel! Cannot recommend these gates enough. Very easy to set up. The extenders are strong (I recommend getting a babygate wall protector, they make them to fit the pressure rings) We got the pressure mounted ones as well as the hardware mount. Hardware mount is a must for stairs. The pressure mount ones are strong, but I wouldn't count on them for stair safety. The Hardware Mount version, would stop an 18-Wheeler in its tracks! These gates are the caviar of baby proofing!
