These work great! I have drain gnats in my drain (sort of like fruit flies). I put one of these by the sink, and it is really helping to get rid of the gnats (along with pouring bleach in the sink, making sure no dishes are left in the sink, etc.). I also have some of the flies in my hermit crab tank. I hang one of these from the lid and it's getting rid of the flies. You just have to hang it high enough that the crabs don't grab it by accident (I have a large tank, so it's possible to do that). These are a little pricier than some of the other yellow sticky fly tapes, but they are large, and you get a lot of them in the box. Also, I love that these have a small non-sticky place on the bottom to grab them by. The problem I had with the others is they were so hard to place, because it was hard to hold them without them sticking to you.

They are sticky but they do not attract flies.

Had this set up for 2 days and it definitely attracts the pests.

I have two hibiscus plants that I brought in from the outdoors after summer. Unfortunately they were loaded with fungus gnats. These do a great job of attracting and capturing the gnats, but I have also used nematodes to kill the larvae in the soil. It is still a work in progress as there are still some surviving adults, but I think I am almost pest free. I have changed the sticky traps three times now as they were loaded with gnats, but I don't see any flying around my living areas anymore.

Got these for fruit flies and thus far only one individual fly has succumbed to them, and that's literally because I hit it with one of the traps. Hitting insects with the box would be more effective. I wish that was a joke. They have absolutely no interest in these traps.
