I love the taste of this. It is easy to use and makes the onion taste just like Texas Roadhouse Blooming Onion. Very good product. I have ordered this several times.

Awesome breading for deep frying chicken for Chinese sesame chicken. My homemade breading would not turn golden brown when cooking. It would also fall off meat while cutting in to it! Vidalia Instructions say to bread chicken with some of dry mixture, then drench in a wet mixture of Vidalia then back in to dry mixture again then deep fry. It is amazing!

… follow directions just like it is an onion … dip in wet mix dip in dry, dip in wet, dip in dry…fry! ( we deep fried ours but would skillet fry just as easily) we fried fresh caught bass fillets !

Definitely need to ass your own spices or it is fairly bland. Feel like it is is a bit overpriced since you you still have to use your own spices and one box is really only good for one cooking session.

Coats great but do not overcook. it becomes really hard to bite into. Stand there and watch it cook to a very light brown color.
