Great replacement for out of pocket cost.
This was the perfect replacement. I normally get them through the VA. But for a quick change out. This was perfect.

Technically compatible and does the job, but will mark up your face... See Update.
UPDATE: This review was originally for a 3rd party Amara View mask headgear strap, not for the face cushion itself. Apparently the product has changed for this listing, and it now appears to be genuine Amara View full face cushions. I've ordered several, the most recent in January, 2025, and they are both the genuine real deal. Adjusted to 5 stars, for the real product. Original 2-star review of 3rd-part Amara View headgear strap: Initially this seemed almost like the original strap that came with the mask. However, upon use for several months I found a big difference. On the original strap, the edges of the strap are crimped together. On this non-OEM, the edges are thicker, with no real finish, having just been cut out of the material. The effect, for me, is that when I wake up after having slept on my side, there is a very huge visible indentation on my face where the strap was. This can take a couple of hours to go away, even with a thorough face washing and attempts to get it to go away. It's kind of like take a piece of white bread, and pushing down a cup over it to cut out the center. The edges where the cup pushes will be crimped together, while the center of the bread will still be "fluffy." However, this third party strap was like white bread cut with a sharp knife, and you can see the thick edges. And they dig into your face. As such, I can't recommend this strap and am ordering an original. Walking into work with strap marks on my face is rough!

Durable under high pressure
I’ve bought several of these over the last decade and every time, they’ve held up under a lot of pressure. My CPAP pressure is set from 16 to 18 on my machine, and 20 is the highest it’ll go. I’ve had some where the seal on the cushion failed, causing me to have to buy another one. The last one that I bought (May 2025), the nose rest ended up getting torn somehow. They’re cheap enough to replace, and I’m grateful for it. Highly recommend.

Just replace the part that wears out.
It's a perfect fit, and an economical alternative to buying a whole new face mask.

Wife happier
First mask I have had that my wife does not nudge me at night due to the mask leaking air! I needed to abandon my nasal cushion mask and find a hybrid that would also work cover my mouth as I was breathing at night, off and on, through my mouth.. The big masks were annoying. The Amara View Hybrid mask also allows for some side sleeping without immediately leaking air. If you turn your head further into the pillow you will have a leak but that is common with all masks. The mask does take a little tweaking for the first 10 or 15 seconds as you get ready for bed, as it can leak on either side of the nose. You have to push the mask up a little higher than you might think you need to against your nose for a good seal. But it is not uncomfortable, you just have to play with the the positioning of the mask. Not much hassle at all and I think after the mask warms to your face it contours better to your face and gets a better seal. I have tried 5 different masks over 2 plus years and this is by far the best I have used.
