Kids love it
Got this book for my 5 year old son, after his teacher recommended that he practiced more on his drawings. He isnt as creative with his pictures as he should be for his age. Great book for children who enjoy drawing, good illustrations and easy instructions, is used quite a lot.

Basic but confidence building
Originally I was concerned that this book was too basic for my 9 and 11 year old daughters, who already love to draw, however, it gave them confidence to firstly copy the drawing and to then allow them to freestyle. They love the six easy steps, showing them how to correctly build up a drawing, and to create an image which is recognisable and easy to recall at a later date. They have happy spent hours copying the drawings and adding textured titles, before restyling to make the imagery their own. The book has also helped to perfect their images, and has provided examples that they are proud to show others.

Good drawing guidance for children
How to Draw Book for kids is a great book to help guide children how to draw everyday objects, animals and characters. Bought for a 5 year old who really enjoyed it.

very simple and too basic
Very simple and basic, i guess could be good for 6 year olds and under, but for anyone older seems a bit too basic. I guess it's a great starter if you aren't very talented as can show you some steps. didn't realise it seems self published.

I got this book for my daughter who was wanting to learn how to draw! It gives step by step instructions on how to draw so many things, at an easy level. its just instructions, with no room to draw in the actual book, which Is nice, because it encourages practice, not just a one time try.

I bought this for my niece and she really liked it. It was a good product and I would buy it again if I had another child to get a gift for. Lots of things to replicate in the book.

Just okay. The drawings are not very interesting for kids and definitely not as good as other How to Draw books my kids have had.
