Professional Meter
This meter is a high quality tool for a good price. Was looking for an amprobe to replace my Fluke that got dropped in the river. I have been an electrical contractor for 42 years and have used them all at one time or the other. A few years ago I was gifted a Klein meter and was never happy with it.Sooo I shelled out the $400 bucks for a new Fluke meter. I was happy with it,but Fluke doesn't mind giving you a prostate exam when you purchase one of their products. I ran into an A/C tech right after I dropped my Fluke in the river and he had one of these meters he was using and let me play with it for a few minutes. I was truly impressed,especially when he told me how much it cost.I have been using this meter for a week now and very happy. You can pay more for a good meter but still don't get some of the everyday features such as a magnet and test lead storage. You can't go wrong with purchasing one of these meters especially if your a pro.

Great multi meter for the money
Had an earlier model for 10 plus years always been accurate and easy to use. I left it in the shed in a box. I didn't know my shed flooded and frozen under 2 inches of ice. Although when spring came and thawed out the ice the meter didn't turn on. After I took it apart cleaned inside and dried it out started working agian. To be on the caution side I replaced it with this model. If it can handle being in a 3 month ice bath and able to turn back on after cleaning and drying I was sold to get another one.

Overall decent multimeter.
Temperature is pretty accurate along with amperage and voltage. But testing capacitance on capacitors isn’t accurate at all! I think it has an accuracy of 3.5%, not very helpful on that aspect.

Replaced with the original/first was was electronically interal short - no products fault
I have had this product before, but it was electonically shorted internally and never worked correctly and drained batteries too often. So far before my vacation it has worked as I would expect it too and I am happy with it so far. I will update this later on if I remember to.

Great to read volts, ohms, mfd, amps and continuity. Temp is off by 5-8 degrees
Had this for over a year, very budget friendly and accurate with electrical readings. However jumping into commercial refrigeration it’s temp probe is off by 5-8 degrees. Had the same issue with the UEI temp thermometer. Save money and get a fluke or fieldpiece.

I've been using this brand since 2010 and now I bought a 2nd one because I love the option that it offers especially the magnet which allows you to place the multimeter on the unit and use both hands in order to troubleshoot. Great product.

As an appliance tech who uses a multi-meter almost everyday I can say without a doubt I would recommend this product. The only knock I have is the heat probe is not the best quality. The functionality is great and also has a back light for dim or dark places.
