Does the job I needed it to do! Just the right amount of weight to the tool and a soft, non-marring head that I think will stand up for a long time so long as it is used correctly - no rough surfaces, no nail pounding, any of the sorts of things you'd use a claw hammer or heavy mallet on. I used it for putting up temporary decorative fencing and it put the decorative metal stakes more than a foot into rocky ground with ease and didn't leave even the tiniest scratch or dent on them. Invaluable tool, so long as it is used on material that it was intended for.
