Yukon Bermuda is looking great after a couple of weeks!
My first review. I bought 2# bag for a little over 1000sqft. This was planted in growing zone 7B in heavy clay soil, I have planted some Zenith Zoysia in the past (the zoysia took 1.5 years to fill in and is beautiful) but it is hard to come by and very expensive, I have a 6 acre plus yard that I would love to have completed in warm season grass. This stuff came up with a very high germination rate it is to early to comment on how fast it spreads or turf quality but it is looking good at the two week mark. Planting and prep seed prep watch some of the pre germination videos on YouTube for Bermuda grass seeds. I soaked mine for 7 days chancing the water about every 12 hours, could have went a little longer but had a narrow weather window to get it on the ground. I killed everything with round up lightly raked. I spread the seed out and let the excess water drain and mixed it with milorganite to make it is to spread. Top dressed with a thin layer of peat moss, my kid had a peatmoss spreader that made the job fast and easy. Watering is the most important part of the process. automatic timer set to keep the top 1/2" moist. In my case it was every 4 hours for 6 minutes. I had green sprouts in less than 72 hours. I am buying 2 more pounds right now and then wait until next year to see how it handels our winters.

You aren’t buying Bermuda... you’re buying a bag of weeds.
Extremely disappointed. I spent weeks killing my previous lawn, and then thatching and scalping in preparation for new Yukon Bermuda grass. I fertilized the soil, laid down the seed to specifications, covered in manure, and began the grueling cycling of watering on a very set schedule. Temps never dropped below recommended ranges and after 3-4 weeks, I finally saw something starting to sprout and got excited for what was coming. Unfortunately, after another 3 weeks of watering it became apparent that not a single blade of Yukon Bermuda has sprouted. It appears that I had seeded my entire lawn with swinecress.... something that had never been in my lawn before. Hours and hours of time, and money, absolutely wasted on a bag of weeds. I’d give zero stars if I could.

Green grass
I bought this for my neighbor. I planted this Bermuda seed 4 years ago on my property. I tried to buy it 2019 and 2020 no where to be found online all sold out, so what did tell me people love the product. This item is worth the money. I worked at TRu-Green as a Commercial Tech. I recommend research how to plant lawn seeds for best results.

2 years later, and we have no grass from this seed
Spread this seed June 2019, and got no germination. Bermuda seed takes about 90 days to germinate, so the summer can be pretty much over by the time you know if you got anything from a round of seeding. We have sprinklers on a timer, watered regularly, and we have plenty of sun. I have used grass seed before, with different success scenarios in different places, but I had never tried Bermuda. I am not saying this seed won’t work, but it was a complete bust for us. I would not buy Bermuda seed again.

Very disappointed despite good youtube reviews
2 week update - The seeds DO sprout, seems they need a lot more handholding to get going, I will be attempting to create “sod plugs” with this seed and report back with how it goes. Bumping to 3 stars from 1 now that the seed is actually sprouting. Review will improve if the grass does reproduce as a sod like bermuda once in ground Got the same weeds as the other reviewer.. was really hoping for this after watching doc on youtube. As far as I can tell none of it sprouted. I will be trying to start some of the seeds in pots to see if I can get anything at all. I will update this review if any seeds sprout and use them as plugs at least. Crossed fingers but right now tough sell at $50
