Used for thumb drive --> USB-C connection
Simple-looking product well made. I used it as an adapter to plug a thumb drive into my smart phone to transfer contacts. Only used once. It worked well to make that connection.

Works great, high quality, but too short
This adapter is well built and does provide USB 3.1 speed (5 Gbps). However, it is only 5 inches (12.7 cm) long. This is not mentioned on either Anker or Amazon websites. This is ok to use with a laptop, but not so useful for a desktop.

Works perfectly...like all Anker products
When I need tech things such as this USB-C to USB3.1 adapter, I seek out the Anker brand. And I've never been disappointed. Their stuff just always works. And this is no exception. Works perfectly for my needs.

Seems like quality build.
I had a couple USB A to USB C adapters from this company. Both failed within a year so thought I'd try the pigtail, So far, OK.
