Serious protection with comfort
Getting into Adventure riding long after a history of single track enduro riding. Upgrading 15 year old gear led me to this Leatt 6.5 chest protector purchase. Very pleased with both the protection provided and comfort. Now I see why this has an official crash rating. Feels heavy when you pick it up but once on properly adjusted, feels like nothing. Also ordered the 5.5 neck brace which is compatible with this chest protector. Compatibility with the neck brace was a major decision point.

Worth it
This armor is lightweight, it's comfortable, it's easy to get on and get off. I crashed at AF the first day I had it and landed on my head and back, breaking my full face off of my head and scratching the crap out of this armor on rocks. Without this product, I would probably be dead or paralyzed. Because I was wearing this, I walked away with a minor concussion and finished the park day leading the trail. If you ride DH, buy it. It's worth it.

Very nice protector
I just received it and tried it on. Fits nice and feels very protective. Also very light weight. Have not rode in it yet but feel the quality is there. Very happy with purchase

did a superman on my DH MTB
wife had me get the combo of this and the neck brace, hey I'm 55 with a job, morgate, and two kids in college I need to make sure I am good to go. when I did have a big digger it saved my bacon. I landed so hard the waffle pattern of the vest was the design of my Black and Blue bruise

Makes me feel safe
This chest protector will give you extra confidence on DH or while out on the trails doing crazy stuff. It does feel a little heavier and warmer than my fox racing chest protector, but this is expected since this give you an extra level of protection. I wear it over my jersey and it looks great, doesn't look bulky at all.
