I bought these only for my dogs nails (specifically the dew claws) as he is petrified of nail clippers.These are extremely hard-wearing & very good at taking a large amount of nail off in a short amount of time. I generally bribe my dog with a dentastick & he lets me do 5 seconds on each paw every other day.I purchased these 9 MONTHS AGO and I still have 5 in the pack unused. Previously I was spending £7-£8 a pop for a "diamond" nail file which wore out in a matter of days.I have tried them on my own nails & again, they take a lot of nail off with very little effort. As the listing suggests, they are designed for acrylic nails but in my opinion they are also PERFECT for dogs who have anxiety over clippers or those terrible motorised nail files.Would heartily recommend to anyone who's pet is scared of nail clippers. No trips to the vet needed & much less stress to get them used to this at home! Start little by little & build up their confidence in the nail files.

Product purchased to file my dogs claws as she won’t let you near with proper clippers. Needed to be heavy duty grit that lasts well and these are just that. As someone who also does her own gel or acrylic nails I would image these would be perfect for taking off thick acrylic or gel very quickly.

I use Makartt Full Nail Tips and they tend to slightly bigger than my nail bed but whenever I use a 80/100 file it does the job so well that it feels like it is my nail.

Didn’t even get half a day out of my first one. Grit really good but they tear. Also grit wears really quick. I’m a professional nail tech so not good for someone who has a busy column. If your doing your mates maybe or your own bit for salon use they are a definite no go

I was a nail technician for many years . I can tell you this file is the best file I have ever seen it is very aggressive and a must for removal ..so easy and fast ..caution this is a file you do not want to use on your bare nail..love these files and they also last a long time
