Aputure LS 60X LED Video Light

The fact that these use batteries is extremely helpful. The carrying case is super convenient and allows you to stay organized. Overall great for videographers who do events.

I recently purchased this light and right out of the gate. I was very impressed with be build quality of the light. Made mostly of solid metal and comes with a nice carrying case.

As a wedding photographer AND videographer, I need something that is small but powerful, high quality but affordable... and I found it in the 60x. For photography, I love the way it looks to backlight or hair-light subjects, while using my flash for my key light. It adds a new dimension to otherwise pretty flat photos. For VIDEO however, it is an absolute must. Wedding dances can get so dark, with only the flashing lights of the DJ, and this light finally freed me up to be able to shoot without cranking my ISO to 6400. It is bright and can zoom from spot-sized to a medium wash, all while running on batteries (not included). This light is honestly one of the main additions that made me feel like I can truly be charging the rate that I do for wedding films. I've used the light once for studio/commercial work, and it thrived in that setting as well. I plan on buying at least one, maybe two more of these little guys.

These little guys do so much. Great light, Bowens adaptor, ability to be powered by battery, bi-color, and zooming functions, mean they are a wedding videographer's dream. In low light, I also love them for key lights in interview settings, although it won't compete against the daylight. Overall, my favorite video light, and it always comes with me, even if I need the bigger ones as well.

The Aputure LS60x light really impressed me out of the box. It’s built like a tank, and the light quality is top-notch. Plus, the packaging and carrying case are solid – you can tell they put thought into it. But here’s the kicker: the light shuts off after about 7 seconds, whether it’s plugged into the wall or using another power source. My guess is that some built-in safety feature is causing it to shut itself off. I really had high hopes for this light, and it’s a bummer that it’s not working right. I know Aputure usually makes good stuff, but it looks like I got a lemon. Wish they’d keep a closer eye on quality control.

I'm re-thinking every piece of equipment I own and considering selling it off and leaving myself with a strobe and two of these Aputure lights. HOLY SMOKES, I can already tell, 5 minutes outside its case, this is going to be a game changer for not only editorial photograph in a studio or environmental setting, but natural kick-light outdoors when used for hair or objects in natural daylight, or a nuanced key-light if close enough to its subject, using battery power. I can't wait to use this!

Something i wish i would’ve known when purchasing this product is that you have to buy the batteries seperate. this wasn’t a major deal but if i needed this light for a gig it would’ve limited me majorly.

Uno dos de estos para bodas, y estoy encantado. Intensidad y amplitud muy buenas, calidad de luz hermosa, varias opciones de alimentación, y conectividad por Sidus Link al teléfono por Bluetooth aunque a veces lenta y se desconecta, es súper practico.
