Perfect replacement for my 2010 Honda Civic LX AC Compressor
I took on the challenge of swapping a broken AC compressor for my 2010 Honda Civic LX, and I was pleased to see that this replacement compressor was a perfect fit, and it's working perfectly, pumping cold air through my AC system and keeping my car nice and cool once again. It came preloaded with the proper amount of PAG oil, well sealed on arrival, and they supplied the proper o rings for the high and low pressure refrigerant lines. The only notable difference between this unit and the original OEM compressor from my car is the lack the little mounting/alignment tabs. This is not an essential component; they only make placing it into the chassis before bolting it in a little easier, but it was simple enough for this amateur home mechanic to manage it.

Ac compressor
So far so good 2 days with it and it’s working fine we’ll see how long it last . It blows cold just like the oem 👌😎

It WAS good for about 2 months, then it suddenly broke.
I installed it on May 26. I’m a helicopter mechanic by trade so I am mechanically inclined and I referenced all online knowledge to install it. I had more than enough oil in the system. I was on a road trip on July 14th and my AC was working intermittently this trip. A few hours in I heard a hiss, which was probably the AC compressor when it cracked and then seconds later I heard a loud noise which was the clutch sheering off. I saw the clutch fly off in the rear view mirror. When I bought this I thought I would give it a chance because it had some good reviews and some bad. But it turned out bad for me. Now I have an Advanced Auto compressor in my car which has a lifetime warranty. I lost about $200 on this because it broke past my return timeframe. I also want to add that the new compressor I got from Advanced Auto Parts works better, it cools down my car much quicker after it sat in the heat all day.

No issues so far
Installed in my 2008 Honda Civic EX almost a year ago. Haven't had any issues so far and the A/C has been cold and running well. My friend didn't seem to have any problem installing it into my car either. Worth noting that the compressor did come in a ripped plastic bag inside a box, which gave me some concerns originally but everything's been running good so far.

Great Part
works as intended, and it does fit the 2006-2011 honda civics. Nice and quiet as well, the OEM part on my honda was starting to fail to the point where it started smoking, and the belt slipped killing my engine. Great Part again highly recommend. Customer service is nice they send an email after your purchase and ask as if you need assistance or questions.

LIFE TIME WARRANTY
I'm giving this AC unit for a 2009 civic 4 stars for the life time warranty I purchased it thru AMAZON makes me feel much better about the purchase. The unit was received from AWG AUTO with no paper work at all only 2 "0" rings. There was no oil in compressor which is alright. I would rather do it myself. I'll update this review in a couple weeks. Its been a month and the compressor works good. It had all the proper mounting holes and connections perfect replacement part and charged and held pressure no leaks. Update 4 months later today I turned on A/C and nothing. went to have it checked low hi pressure, high low pressure I was told compressor went out need new one. we'll see if warranty is honored? well I contacted AWG auto and they were very helpful I told them what happened and what was checked to determine if compressor was not working they said they would replace compressor 2 days later a new one was delivered. AWG AUTO is a quality company and there warranty is real. I would not hesitate to buy from them again.

Not bad but wish it was better
All was good except the connector that goes into the alternator was broken on arrival. I used some electric tape to hold is all together. Also did not specify if oil was added or not and how much to add. I ended up adding 8oz.

Works perfect on 2010 civic dx. Used a set of the amazon gauges too, new condensor, and now have nice cool air again. And Amazon was the price around.

It works well for the most part, especially if your old compressor died and you had no ac at all. However, it seems that it takes a bit longer to actually start blowing cold air. When it engages, it appears ti be pulling more battery power than the original one, and your car's RPMs may drop significantly. Al in all, it is serving the purpose purpose and it is much cheaper than going to a shop to get it replaced. (If you know how to replace it yourself)
