To sum it up
So, I love yoders, I grew up eating it. I was so disappointed when it arrived. There is no return policy. What you get is what you get. 5 of the cans were dented on the seams and 1 was leaking. 1 of the other cans was actually corroded. So long term storage is out.Basically, 200 bucks for less than a pound of meat.

always yummy
I have liked this for years. The cans come dented sometimes but are not damaged enough to spoil the product. I think some exaggerate the damage. I do agree the company should come up with a solution but not really that bad. keep in mind a dent that would spoil the product would have to rust and be bulging out and in ones have to be deeper. Dents on the edges can be bad though. I use this meat faster so think I am less affraid of the outcome. I see both sides. The ground beef always tastes so good fixed right and is tender not hard like store bought ground beef. when I cook ground beef from the store it always seems to be very hard to chew. I am missing teeth so the softer meat helps me.

Love It
I really like this product. Even though it's fully cooked before they stick it in the can, heating it makes it taste better. Be sure to fully drain the juice from the can before you use or else it won't taste right. I will continue to purchase this product because it's easy to use.

$200 worth of dented cans!!
Don't waste your money if you're planning on using these for long-term storage. Box arrived in perfect condition, only to find dented cans in the box. Can't return or exchange. Most people who are spending $200 on canned hamburger are doing so to have as a backup when there are shortages. In short, these expensive cans were sent out already damaged.

Good condition
Haven’t used hamburger meat yet. But I was happy that all the cans arrived in good condition without any dents

6 out of 12 cans received dented
Purchased a case to add to our emergency food storage pantry. Six of the twelve cans were slightly dented around the top rim. Not ideal for long term storage. The manufacturer would do well to consider better packaging for transit, especially if multiple sellers are handling - shipping labels indicate originally shipped from Ohio, then to Seed Ventures in Kansas, then to Safecastle in Arizona, then to Amazon and then finally to me. If I purchase again, I’ll attempt to source more directly. Regarding the taste & quality of the product…well…it’s canned meat. Not my favorite but I’m sure it will taste great if no other option is available. As others have stated, best to rinse before use & use in a recipe that calls for ground beef (not as a stand alone entree). One additional comment, expiration date is not printed on cans but was found on Ohio shipping label: Aug 22, 2036. I purchased October 2021.

Excellent quality versus cost.
Good for quickie meals, hamburger soup, sloppy Joe's, tacos or to have on hand for emergencies.
