Artificial, not nearly organic.
Very misleading labeling and description. Product contains vanillin, the artificial synthesized chemical used to imitate vanilla. I used to live in Mexico where sales of trumped up vanilla is rampant. This is clearly a case of product coming over the border trying to be what it is not. So save your money and look elsewhere. Or buy another that is at the proper price point for artificial vanilla! Sad to see this being permitted on Amazon. Returned for refund.

Very Misleading label
I am so pissed. This is NOT PURE vanilla as the label suggests. additional ingredients include glycerine ... why?It also includes vanillin which is made from wood pulp and used to make vanilla products cheaper. Unfortunately I did not discover the ruse until after making a triple batch of Kahlua style liquor, thus ruining 2 gallons of syrup. The smell was definitely unreal, if you know the real thing you would think it was imitation. Although it does have vanilla, and probably is organic, this is not the real thing. So, so disappointed.Organically Grown Aged Premium Mexican Vanilla (Amber Colored) (16 Fl. Oz.)

A total rip off.
This stuff literally stinks. It is not pure vanilla extract. It has glycerin and "natural" vanillin. Vanillin is made from "natural" sources like pine bark, clove oil, rice bran, and lignin. It smells more like cocoanut oil than vanilla. On top of this, Amazon told me I can't return this crap. We'll see about this.UPDATE:13 DEC 17 - Amazon told me to just throw the bottle away and they have already refunded the full price. I'm glad to see this from a huge outfit. Thanks, Amazon!

I reordered another brand and am very satisfied with it
I knew the second I opened this bottle that it was not pure vanilla. I detected a caramel-like odor and something else so I looked at the ingredients. There are way too many ingredients in this "vanilla" to be called pure vanilla, including propylene glycol and artificial flavors including vanilla and caramel. I filled out a seller feedback form and received an immediate response, which was very much appreciated. The seller asked me to change my rating for customer service, which I am gladly doing because he has been very attentive. I reordered another brand and am very satisfied with it. I've been making my own vanilla extract for years and all you need is some type of alcohol (I use rum), vanilla beans, and sugar if you wish. I didn't have time to make my own, but I will be extra careful in the future to have the ingredients on hand because this has been a hassle.

Don't be fooled
I compared it to other brands after I received it, and now believe it has way too much extra stuff in it to be PURE mexican vanilla extract. The Amazon description and company's website are deceiving. Plus, it smells a bit like Hawaiian Tropic tanning oil from the 80s; yet, coconut isn't listed as an ingredient.

Not organic as stated, false advertising
The item I ordered had a different looking label. And when I read the ingredients there is NOTHING ORGANIC ABOUT IT AND I REFUSE TO USE THIS IN MY COOKING. I've used Orlando Premium Natural Vanilla before, and I ordered this because the one I had ran out. The label on my old empty bottle says organic, as does the one in this seller's photo. But NOT in the label on the bottle that I received! Plus the ingredients on my old empty bottle shows "Vanilla bean extractives, water, and alcohol" and that's it! The one on the label of the bottle sent to me shows the ingredients as "Purified water, vanilla extract, cane alcohol, vanillin, propylene glycol, natural caramel colour". FALSE INFORMATION, NOT ORGANIC AS STATED. I want my money back.

BEWARE!! Ingredients List Wrong! This contains sugar, preservatives, color, and vanillin!
I purchased this vanilla from the merchant Kalisda on Amazon. The description of this product says it contains only vanilla beans, water and alcohol. That is not the case!!! The bottle I received has a sticker over the original ingredients list displaying the following ingredients list: Purified water, vanilla extract, cane alcohol, rum, natural cane sugar, vanillin, Propylene glycol, caramel color, potassium sorbate. Here is wikipedia's definition of vanillin:Vanillin is a phenolic aldehyde, an organic compound with the molecular formula C8H8O3. Its functional groups include aldehyde, ether, and phenol. It is the primary component of the extract of the vanilla bean. Synthetic vanillin, instead of natural vanilla extract, is sometimes used as a flavoring agent in foods, beverages, and pharmaceuticals.Based on the taste, I would guess that the vanillin in this extract is artificial, but I cannot be sure about that.I have been using Watkins organic vanilla extract in my coffee each morning. I was searching for a cheaper alternative that also only contained water, alcohol and vanilla extract. I didn't read the ingredients list when I got this, but my coffee tasted terrible with this vanilla. It tasted like artificial vanilla flavor. So I read the ingredients list and was very disappointed that the description on amazon had been wrong.UPDATE: I received an immediate response from the merchant when I told them about the problem. Here is their response:Hi Karen.I am very sorry about this discrepancy! Our supplier has changed their vanilla recipe and is still in the process of getting new labels.Thank you for pointing it out to us. We will work as soon as possible to get this fixed. As for your order, you are welcome to return the bottle for a full refund which would include $5.95 for the return shipping.I am sorry for the inconvenience this may have caused you,The Kalisda Team

It smells like chemicals the minute you open the bottle
This is a SCAM. The only ingredients in organic vanilla should be vanilla bean, some sort of alcohol as an extractive, and water. This product has coloring, "vanillin" flavor, propylene glycol (WTF?!) among other evils. It smells like chemicals the minute you open the bottle. Whatever agency in Mexico is responsible for certifying this stuff as "pure" or "organically grown" is corrupt.Go spend your money on Nielsen-Massey or any of the other truly pure and organic vanilla extract producers out there.

not a true vanilla flavor
I think it tastes more like artificial vanilla, very disappointed, won't order again.

This is artificial vanilla posing as natural
As far as I can figure, this stuff is artificial (vanillin, made by a pseudo-natural industrial fermentation process, so they can call it 'natural'), rather than the extract of...

TASTES LIKE COCONUT
I put vanilla in my coffee. What a disappointment when I took my first sip. It tasted like coconut coffee. What a waste of $35.00. I hope I can use it for cooking.

Don’t be fooled by organically grown aged premium vanilla label
Disappointing. I thought I was buying vanilla. Has a chemical smell that doesn’t even begin to smell like vanilla. This may have a bit of vanilla bean but it isn’t obvious.

Great taste. Love the large bottle.
Love this. I go through vanilla very quickly so I love this huge bottle.

Slightly different flavor
We only use vanilla in desserts, so I thought it would be ok to have the other ingredients. But the children have noticed, as have I, that this vanilla is different.
