Saucony Men's Cohesion 14 Trail Running Shoe

My father likes to go on walks & like any smart athlete he likes to wear the proper footwear for his walks. He has hiking boots but doesn’t hike as much as he just goes on regular walks in parks & around town. I appreciate anything that fits him comfortably so he can stay active & healthy for as long as humanly possible. I’m happy that I was able to purchase exactly what he needed without having to wonder about fit since the last pair before was ordered off of Amazon. This time I just had to find the shoes & reorder. For my dad these are good quality & good comfort, for me I’m happy for the good price. He doesn’t care about the color but I do like the black. Traction is good since he’s never slipped or fallen when wearing these so I especially appreciate that. He likes the arch support. I again like the price cause I can feel that I’m keeping the promise I made to my mom before she passed that I would look out for him! Win win purchase.

Saucony are some of the most comfortable shoes you can buy. Made very good of high quality.

It's hard to order shoes online without trying them on first, but I took a chance as the price was just to good to pass up on these. I'm glad I did, as these are my second pair of these I ordered. For the money I am very impressed. I'm retired so these are mostly for walking. They seem well made and comfortable. They seem to run a little small (as others have noted) so I ordered 1/2 size bigger than I usually wear, and they fit fine.

Very comfortable and good looking. Priced fairly, my new favorites. On my 6th pair at least. I use one pair for everyday use and one pair for casual evening.

So far, I really like these Saucony Men's Cohesion 14 Trail Running Shoes. I am a size 10.5 medium width and per other reviewers, I ordered up a half size to 11 - and they fit great. I got mine in blue, which are really nice-looking and stylish - and the photos of the blue version don't due justice to how good they look - like a deep, royal blue.

People with narrow feet will love these shoes. I have been a runner for 40 years and these are comfortable. Runners with different footstrikes need to evaluate if your a under pronation, over pronation or heel striker to get the right shoes for your feet.

[Update] About 2 months into using these part of the outer tread on right shoe has started peeling off. Not the end of the world but I definitely feel it when pivoting or shuffling my foot. Concerns me that more tread will break off as the shoe ages. I have wide feet and have had a lot of trouble with brands like Under Armour, ASICS, and Adidas because they often become too tight around my toes. Saucony has become a go to for me because their shoes are very horizontally spacious. I've become especially fond of the Cohesion line as comfortable, inexpensive Shoes for running and work. It started with the Cohesion 12 as a pair of backup running shoes for my Kinvaras. Then I bought a pair of Cohesion 13s for work, which have turned out to be some of the most comfortable Shoes I've ever owned for general use. After a little over a year of use my Cohesion 13s have started to wear and I decided to give the new release a try. The 14s look very similar to the 13s (this is a good thing) and they even added a line of thick reinforcing material over the outside of the toe box where my 13s developed holes. However, although the same size, these shoes don't seem to fit as well. They have less space in the toe box, while simultaneously being wider overall. When working this has led to an annoying tendency for the shoes to want to rotate around my feet when on uneven or angled surfaces. It's usually not a problem but I don't feel as well planted as with the 13s. Overall, these are solid shoes, they feel like Sauconys and they're well priced. But they don't have the same "made for me" feel that I got with the Cohesion 13s.

I bought these to use as regular shoes - not as dedicated running shoes. They are great for that, very comfortable and they feel well made. I like the look of them and use them regularly. For running I use “better” shoes from the same brand. These seem ok for running though - probably would be good for it also. The back of the shoe has a raised cushion that you have to make sure you don’t squish down when you slip on the shoes, but if you do that, they are both tight and comfortable in a way that feels very solid. No squeak in these shoes so far - have had that problem with some other shoes recently. Overall, these are a great purchase for the price - definitely seems like much better quality than you typically find at their lower price point.
