Incredible!
This game was a gigantic surprise for me. It's one of the best storybased games made in recent years, no matter what you compare it to. From the start to finish, this game is interesting. You're constantly wondering what is REALLY going on. However, the game seldom tells you what is actually happening explicitly. In a fashion that I think is similar to Neon Genesis Evangelion storywise, the games makes you think. A lot. In a good way. It feels like the game is constantly giving you small details of what is going on, but to really understand what is going, you gotta keep on playing.I recently played through Persona 4 Golden, also on the Vita. It's my second play through of that game, I played it for the first time in 2011. Back then, I it felt like it was the best storybased game I had played on any console in any genre in the last eight years or so. Even though that game lacked the emotional impact that, let's say, Final Fantasy 7,8 and 10 had, Persona 4 was so well-written and intelligent that it felt like as it was just as good if not better than the best Final Fantasy games. But, now, after playing through Virtue's Last Reward, I'm not sure that Persona 4 is on top of my "best-video-game-story" list any more... Yes, Virtue's Last Reward IS that good! What makes it so good is how the game tangles the different branches of the story into something that ultimately feels like one of the best games you have ever played. Every single branch is interesting. And every single branch and ending gives you more and more clues of what is happening and makes you want to play even more, despite that some parts can sometimes drag on a bit. Some of the endings are really shocking, while some others (especially one of them) will basically make you cry... The game's story also tries to discuss some philosophical and psychological issues and dilemmas and, very impressively, pulls that off in a stunningly good manner. It's truly a joy to read some parts of it, sometimes you will almost get shocked of how well the dialogue is written. A sign of a good story in game must be when it can pull off to describe things like what ani-matter is or how humans are similar to termites or how maybe air has the ability to think (!) in a interesting and believable way, right? This game surpassed even my wildest expectations! In my opinion, this game has the best story in any videogame made in the last 10 years. So... what I'm basically saying is that I think you should really buy this game and give it a chance. You will not regret it :)

Ottimo ma edizione USA!
Ottimo! Puntuale e tutto perfetto; però il titolo non è in edizione UK, ma US, quindi americana! Dovreste correggere le info!

Great game but...
I was really enjoying the gameplay, story and voice acting in this game but the localisation ruined my immersion. You see the subtitles are a transcription of the English dub of the game which is only available in the US release. This is jarring to me because I know enough spoken Japanese to know that the subtitles don't match what the characters are saying.I wish developers would include properly localised subtitles for Japanese audio like you find on Anime DVDs.

A quality and value-for-money title
I was looking for a new Vita game and purchased this after reading a magazine review. Not having played a 'graphic novel' type game before I was not sure what to expect but can honestly say I am glad I bought it.The game is story based and involves a lot of reading (as the audio language is Japanese, and the subtitles are in English). There are a number of puzzles to solve in order to 'escape' from rooms at various parts of the story. The puzzles themselves are ingeniously created and well thought through as they add to the progression of the story. The story itself is well scripted containing many twists and turns. It certainly held my interest throughout with boring moments being quite scarce. It's well presented throughout with quite a 'polished' feel to it. I didn't notice any bugs or glitches either (there is no 'online' mode here). All of the Trophies are achieveable if you devote time and effort to it.In total, I've had upwards of 70 hours of fun with it so good value for money too.
