I bought this for use under the Marmot Ajax 2 Tent - 2-Person, seeing that it was 'often purchased together' by other Amazon customers. I wanted extra protection against the rain. The first time I used it in the rain it actually helped to pool water under the tent making the whole tent and all my gear wet. Not good as a foot print under the tent in wet weather. Might be ok as a small tarp or as they advertise 'as a picnic blanket' but it's no good for under the tent.

Worked exceptionally well. If you want to do multiple configurations, get the 12x12. Durable and works great with all the eyeholes. I built a nice bed under it to get off the ground.

this is a solid footprint for our tent! we have an older sierra designs meteor light tent and bought this to fit under it while we did some backyard camping during the quarantine. it worked great. it's nice and thick, but lightweight and has well placed hooks for stakes. folds up into a small carry sack. great product!

I realized the importance of a good tent footprint after spending lots of time in the catskills and adirondacks and noticing that the terrain is almost never totally dirt -- lots of rocks everywhere. There's also a good amount of rain and inclement weather. This footprint helps keep the bottom of the tent clean and obviously tear-free, and allows us to take the risk of putting our tent on some more rugged and wetter land without worrying about harming the tent bottom or getting water/dampness inside.

I purchased this brand and a Frelaxy brand. This one is smaller and lighter. Butbi question it's quality compared to the other 1 I bought. Time will tell. Just need it to keep the moisture out and the tent floor pan off the ground.
