This tiny little house is an ideal size for my one mouse. The base actually doesn't attach to the hut so it makes it easy to remove and clean out. Alternatively, you can use it without the base and just lift off the top. It will have a longer life used that way. The wood is very clean and sanded well. I am pleased with the size, quality and ease of use. It is small so definitely check the size and compare it to your pet first. Again, for my one mouse it's a good fit.

I appreciate the concept of this toy. The ladder component offers opportunity for climbing which can be enjoyable for these active creatures.However, the main issue lies with the bottom platform attachment, which is crooked and unstable. The platform doesn't align correctly, causing the house to sit diagonally on it. This makes it challenging for small pets to use the house comfortably, and it affects the overall stability of the toy. As a result, we had to remove the bottom platform.Additionally, the size of the hideout is quite small, which limits its suitability for pets larger than Syrian hamsters. While it may work well for smaller pets, larger ones might not find it spacious enough to comfortably use as a hideout.On the positive side, the wooden construction of the toy is a natural and safe option for small pets to play and interact with. The wood provides a suitable texture for gnawing and chewing, promoting healthy dental habits.
