So I initially wrote a scathing review for this as it kept peeling, I decided to retry. I peeled all of them off, washed the windows with window cleaner and made sure they were spotless, then soaked the whole window before applying it. Once every particle of air was gone I then cut away every inch of excess so it is 100% flush. They've been on a few weeks now and are FANTASTIC, my lounge is much cooler, I have complete privacy and they look great. So happy I'm going to the whole house eventually.

Does the job very well! We bought it to block out the sun mostly for our front door which lets loads of heat through, but it has the nice benefit of making it harder to see in too. It's a bit tricky to put up and obviously you have to cut it to the perfect size - we found it best to cut it slightly too big, then just trim it with a stanley knife whilst putting it on.

Spray window, peel backing off, stick to window, smooth it out, trim edges it's easy

Great way to reduce the heat on a sunny day. The only problem I had was fitting to a velux loft window because of the angle.

Looked good rolled up. When unrolling the tape holding the roll together was stuck on and couldn't get the sticking bits off. Then the roll was too narrow for my window. It kept rolling up when trying to measure the length. Finally managed to get the backing off and get it on the window. Used lots of soapy water. Had to cut another strip down the side which did join nicely but the corners kept lifting. Could still see the sticky mark from tape at the top aswell. Outside of looked good and inside could see outside. Until night time... you can see inside from outside and cant see out. It's the total opposite. The silverness is all you can see aswell as th crease from matching it up and sticky tape. Anyway come morning I'd forgot about it and noticed it had come off during the night and on the floor. Waste of my money and time

It certainly dims the amount of light entering the room. However, after 3 hours of use, I touch the material to find out that it is extremely hot amd the heat from the sun still enters the room. I have another window which I didnt install and the heat comong from the light was the same as the window with the reflective film.This does not cool down or prevent the heat from the sunlight outside from entering. All this does is dim the light visibly into the room.It claims to stop hewt or at least dimmish heat entering, and peoples reviews claim this as well. But certainly not from my experience. Luckly I only bought one roll for a test.
