I’ve been using Happy Belly Coarse Ground Black Pepper for awhile now, and it’s become a staple in my kitchen. The flavor is bold and fresh—exactly what you want from a good black pepper. It adds the perfect kick to everything from steaks and eggs to homemade spice blends. The seal was intact and bottle is perfect to refill my smaller shakers with. The coarse grind is ideal for rubs and finishing dishes, and the 18 oz size is generous without being bulky. I absolutely love this. PROS: 1. price. Unbelievably low price for 18 ounces!!! 2. Perfect color i.e. the pepper is nice and dark. Usually, ground pepper is more of a sandy color. This isn't. 3. Although advertised as coarse ground, it isn't that fine and you can see the little black peppercorns on your food. I absolutely recommend this if you're looking for a coarse ground dark pepper, look no further. 4. The taste is great 5. The bottle is full! Amazing. It isn't 90% full but actually 100% full CONS: None -- I'm ordering 3 more at this price!!!

I would say this is probably a 16 to an 18 mesh which is technically on the coarser side, but it’s not a really really course grind like a 12 or 14. With that said the flavor is very good and it is an excellent pepper.
