It sports four 12AX7's in the preamp, four 6550's in the power amp, and a 12AT7 for the reverb and effects loop. There is a clean channel and a crunch channel, both with three stages of gain and easily controllable with the included footswitch. The crunch channel features a new shape control that scoops the mids and decreases the bass and treble when turned up, which will let you dial in everything from vintage rock to metal and everything in between.
