Useful light for pantry and closet
We purchased this light for our food pantry. It is great for that use. I was a bit concerned about the recharging, the design is simple. There is a magnet strip with adhesive. Once you find the location you want, you stick that strip on to the surface. We have it attached to the inside door trim. The light then attaches easily to the magnet. When recharging is needed, you pull it off, recharge and return it to its place. We haven't needed to charge the light yet, after more than a month of use. The battery is saved by the sensor; it turns on when we open the door, then off when the door closes. I'd recommend this light for any pantry, closet or laundry room without light.

Very Handy; I Keep Buying More
I bought one of these first to try in our front hall closet which is large and gets enough light from the foyer light, but thought it would help to have some more. We go in here a minimum of twice a day as it's where we keep the dog's food. I mounted it just inside the door casing, centered between the two closet doors and keep it on the motion setting with max brightness. Can't believe how long it will go between needing charging! So I bought another for this one large cabinet in our kitchen that functions as the pantry. Mounted it up inside the cabinet so you can't even see it. Then I bought a third for the space under the sink that was severely light deprived where all the cleaning supplies are kept. These came in very handy recently during Hurricane Irma. We lost power only for one evening, but I took these out of their respective cabinets and sat them on top of the cabinet handles in the kitchen and had plenty of light in the kitchen, which was also conserved as they would only come on when we entered the area.Between these and other gadgets I have that use a micro USB cable to charge (BT speaker, headphones, handsfree soap, etc), I replaced one of the kitchen backsplash outlets with a USB outlet and I just keep one of the cables these came with nearby. The only "negative" is their slight sensitivity to how dark it is in order to come on. Sometimes I find I want the light to come on in the pantry cabinet or under the sink, but it's already too bright according to the sensor. This is remedied by simply keeping the cabinet door closed a little more while I reach my arm in and wave it until the light comes on. Then I can open the cabinet the rest of the way. I'm sure I could find more uses for these!

Not a True Motion Sensor
From what I can tell--and compared to other motion-sensing LED lights that I have purchased--this does not have a true motion sensor; it only senses dramatic changes in light. For example, if it is enclosed in a dark cabinet and you open the cabinet, it will illuminate, but if you wave your hand or walk in front of it, it will not. Also, each battery charge is relatively short-lived, especially for an LED light; I have to charge it once per week with only moderate use.

Great lights, well made
Love these lights, The 4 position switch enables you to set it how it best suits your needs. I found the motion sensor to be very sensitive and works easily 10-13 feet.I need to charge mine approximately every 6-7 days. Very simple to take off magnetic strip and to snap back in place. Works great under medicine cabinet as a nightlight, bright enough not turn other lights to take care of business. Can't think of any negative issues. Highly recommend.

Perfect size, easy install, great function. Delightful, really...
This item is so easy to install, and I love that it is easy to remove and is rechargeable. It took us a minute to install in our pantry, and the results are great. There are four settings (off/on/motion/dim) but we really only needed motion. The size and amount of light is perfect for a small pantry or closet, and it functions exactly as we hoped... it’s really a delightful product. However, keep in mind that rechargeable batteries typically don’t last more than 2-3 years before they start to lose strength (think of your phone). There’s enough good here that it’s still a five-star purchase, and I’m guessing that the batteries could be replaced by someone with a bit of tech savvy (haven’t tried, but it looks like an easy disassembly)

She loved the motion detecting and light output of the unit ...
I initially picked one up to help light my grandmothers room at night. She loved the motion detecting and light output of the unit so much I wound up getting another for the hallway outside her room as well as the kitchen! The motion sensor has incredible detection range for such a small unit, which really impressed me. The power output of the light is strong enough at the lower setting to illuminate a really wide area, which also impressed me! Moreover, these units last nearly an entire month of normal operation off of a single charge... now that should impress YOU!!My only wish for future upgrades from the manufacturer- - -PLEASE consider integrating changeable duration for which the light stays active. I would even be happy to give up the high light output feature for about 10-15 seconds more light duration.Simply put, a great purchase if you're in the need for wireless, rechargeable, automatic lighting!!

Veepeak Rechargeable 14-LED Motion Sensor Light Closet Light~ is awesome
I ordered one of these in 2017 (just ordered another a month ago for another closet). It has performed beyond expectations for almost two years, which is why I ordered another one. I have a spare room for storage with a closet (no light). I used the included strip and placed it on the inside door jam. It has been more beneficial than I can convey.I open the door, the light comes on, and stays on as long as I have ever needed.... It must be constructed with integrity, as I can only recall ever charging it one time (with the included cord) since 2017. ~~~~If you need reliable light, based on motion, I swear you will not be disappointed with this!~~Tried and true for almost two years, with almost no recharging. (1 time in two yrs. for me)~~Comes with everything you need! i.e. charging cord, adhesive strip, etc.Great item! TY Veepeak!

Perfect
Bought to place under kitchen unit and works perfectly. Overnight, I simply lift unit and place in hallway, meaning it's triggered if kids get up through the night, providing excellent light source without switching on any lights.Charge lasts a long time and so easy with USB charging
