Delicious!
I love all of the foods by this group, and I’m not Jewish, I’m a Christian. But their products are the only ones I buy because they’re the most delicious!

When it comes to quickly prepared meals, this product can't be surpassed or equaled
Whats to be said about all the many good things about this product ? First, the quality is the best to be found in quick prepared meals, the flavors and tastes are far beyond any, I ever tasted, and with all the care and controls in preparation, there's a feeling of absolute safety in the eating. Yes, the prices are a bit above, I won't say, comparable quick fix meals, because these meals are far beyond any competitive products on Amazon, or any other product in the retail market place, even Swanson's frozen dinners can't compare. If buyers want quality, absolute food safety, and eating enjoyment at it's best, you have to pay for it, and having tried these great products, (Ready Meals), there will be no after regrets. One word of caution, there appears on Amazon, other competitive products bearing the name, "Ready Meals", I don't know how competitors can use the same name as this Producer, but in ordering on Amazon, be sure that what is ordered is labeled, "glatt kosher, packed for "Kiryas joel meat&poultry, in Monroe N.Y. and one last question, if it's being asked ? No, I'm not Jewish !. Who has ever said, you have to be Jewish to enjoy good food ?. Finally, the packages have a "sell by date" of May 2023, and no special storage is required, just placed them in a cupboard shelve. So far I'e tried 2 different varieties, and I'm headed to trying the all !!!!!

How disappointing
I’ve been buying this meal every couple of months for about a year now and I still like it a lot. Quality-wise, I have nothing to complain about. The chicken is lovely and tender. Potatoes are soft and seasoned just as I like them. Carrots are a bit overcooked but that’s to be expected after so much heating up. I’m not bothered by it. The issue I’m having with it is that until about May this year, there were 2 drumsticks in the container but now there is only one. When it happened the first time, I thought maybe it was just a manufacturing defect but now it looks like the company is trying to save some money. Instead, they give you more potatoes and carrots to keep to the weight specified on the packaging. That makes for one very expensive drumstick in my book. Not sure I’ll be buying it again soon.

Better than MREs, but a bit expensive
First of all, I'm not Jewish, and I don't care about the kosher rating of these meals. I understand they are also great for shabbat meals for the orthodox, but again that is irrelevant to me. I am a prepper who can't eat wheat, meaning most MRE meals (and most freeze-dried prepared meals too) are inedible for me. So I started looking for alternatives and chanced upon these on Amazon. I wanted good meals that last a long time without power (these have a 4-year official shelf life and likely will last longer if stored well). I was initially initially attracted by the nutritional information for most of the meals (they are calorically dense and have plenty of protein without being high-carb), but turned off by the cost. These meals are EXPENSIVE, especially in small quantity. I mean seriously, $15 for one meal?!? But I decided to try a 6-pack each of Rib Steak, Pepper Steak, and the variety pack (bringing the price per meal down to $8.33 (still expensive, but not so outrageous). In terms of flavor the best meal for sure is the rib steak. It was a wonderful blend of deliciously spiced portions and I loved it. This meal (Pepper Steak) was tied for second place with the Chicken Chow Mein. These three were also the most nutritionally complete/balanced in my opinion. I was NOT impressed by the Beef Stuffed Cabbage or the Beef and Lamb Kabob (neither was as tasty(though both are palatable), and both are lacking nutritionally). I did not eat the Chicken Meat Balls meal because it contains wheat. I will definitely be buying a 12-pack each of the rib steak, pepper steak, and chow mein in another couple months. I also intend to try a 6-pack each of the Turkey Shwarma and Stuffed Chicken Breast. Sadly, I can't eat the beef or chicken cholent.Overall, these meals are excellent and I will buy more. This flavor is one of the best. If the price dropped a bit (particularly for the single meals) I bet more people would try them and come to love them.

QUICK, TASTY, FILLING MEAL.
This meal heats up very quickly. One does need a sharp knife to open the sealed top. I ate it directly out of the container it came in and it was truly filling with a piece of Challah Bread to soak up the gravy. Very flavorful, but not too salty. I also had a fresh green salad with it so it really was a complete meal. I will definitely purchase these meals again to keep on hand for times when I can't get out of the house to buy fresh food, to enjoy a "restaurant style" meal without fussing over it myself, or if I am short on time and just have enough time to toss together a salad and cut some bread. In addition, these meals have a long shelf life so they are good to keep around in a pinch or if you are going somewhere and are not sure about where you will be able to eat.
