Great and sturdy product! I bought one of those wide "cross cross chairs" often advertised on social media. For some reason they had sent the wheel-less version even though I chose the option with wheels. After about two years of constantly having to pick up and scoot the chair on carpet I was tired of it. I had some big roller blade type wheels and nowhere to put them, so I bought this to replace the base of the chair and it works great. Easy to put together and holds up. It also lifted my chair a little higher so it's even more comfortable to sit in, and it's made of metal so no flimsy plastic.

After receiving little assistance from my chair manufacturer’s support team, I decided to purchase this office chair base replacement, and I’m very glad I did. The product has an excellent appearance, finished in a polished jet black, and feels extremely sturdy. Assembly was quick and straightforward. I simply transferred the wheels from my old base, seated the chair into the center cylinder, and was back to using it in under 15 minutes. An added benefit is that the footprint is slightly smaller, by a couple of inches, than the original base, so my feet no longer bump into it while sitting. Overall, this replacement appears to be of higher quality than the original, and I expect it will last even longer.

I have a Flexispot C7...awesome ergonomic office chair, until, the plastic base literally split under my big and tall weight. It was rated to 300lbs, and I'm just a bit over that...but, after 8 mos, it failed. So what was I going to do? I played with getting another office chair, rated to heavier weights, but my C7 is pretty darn confortable, I sit for 8-12 hrs per day as I work from home. Then, I found THIS solution. Inexpensive, and rated to 2500...I figured I'd give it a shot. It arrived in less than a week this morning, and 10 mins of simple assembly and my C7 is now ready to roll again! Bought this base to add to an office chair. I believe it’s noted in the description but this base does NOT come with wheels. Not an issue I already had some. The base itself gets loose every couple of months or so and it’s not a huge deal, just need to retighten the screws. You’ll know because the chair will start rattling and then you’ll see the legs are a little wobbly. So far retightening has worked and no issues with stripping. Overall a good product.

I admit I'm a large guy but the damage to my office chair actually came when changing out the casters for a heavier style...I heard a "crack" but couldn't see any damage until about a month later when one leg just gave way. Enter this new chair base. All I can say is, awesome! I purposely ordered a metal base thinking I could bypass any structural problems down the road. I admit, I was a bit taken back when the package arrived and it wasn't a large, flat box like I had expected. I did find it was super easy to assemble however and they even tossed in a cheap hex-key (allen wrench) to do the job. I had the base put together in 5 minutes and slid my chair's hydraulic cylinder into waiting for trouble that never showed up! I did push on it a bit more than necessary simply because the chair sat so much higher than it had on the original base. Trust me...this is a great problem! The other was so low I felt as if I was at a preschool table again. Now...I am a man behind my desk! The unit assembled easily, is quite sturdy and now my chair rolls with ease! What is not to love??

I’m a big guy, and the plastic base my chair came with wasn’t up to the job, leading to a catastrophic failure and a fall. This replacement base is much heavier duty.

I had an office chair with a plastic star base. 1 year and 1 day after I bought it, one of the arms broke where the caster attaches. I was worried I'd have to buy a whole new chair, but looked and found this. The hardest part was getting the old star base off the gas cylinder. if you can't get the old one off, look for a video on youtube where they show you how to remove the clip and take the base off the cylinder. Once I did that, I was able to put it on the ground and whack at the base with a rubber mallet and it dropped off. I had literally hit it 50 times with WD-40 sprayed all in there and it didn't budge, but once I took it off, 2 hits on the old base and it was off. The new base went together perfectly. The five arms have two screws each to attach them to the center. This is much sturdier and a little taller than my old base, so that's nice. Totally worth the purchase!

All metal, I had to replace a "metal" and plastic one that came with my office chair, but I swapped the caster wheels out for rollerblade style and the sockets that hole the wheel stems started to break and one broke completely, I did not realize they were all cracked until I got the old one off, but this has metal sockets and the stem of wheel fit completely inside. So much better design. It is a bit taller higher than my old one but it's workable. easy to put together. It's a good replacement if you need one.

Avevo bisogno di sostituire la base della mia serie da ufficio danneggiatasi dopo neanche troppo utilizzo. Mastery Mart si è rivelata un ottimo sostituto, di materiale decisamente più resistente e robusto rispetto alla precedente, sono anche riuscito a recuperare le rotelle della sedia che si adattano perfettamente anche a questa base. Nonostante l'utilizzo intensivo, ritrovandomi a lavorare da remoto, non ho avuto ancora problemi da questa base.

Bon produit, très solide, a permis de donner une nouvelle vie à ma chaise. Le montage est très simple, le package est complet avec tout ce qu'il faut dans le carton. Attention tout de même, ça m'a pris bien 15 minutes pour pouvoir retirer l'ancien pied de la chaise, je dis ceci afin que vous soyez préparé, car ça n'a rien à voir avec le produit mais plus dans la préparation, ou un marteau pourrait être indispensable. Je trouve le prix un tout petit peu trop élevé quand même, mais ça reste un bon achat selon le prix de la chaise que vous souhaitez rénover.
