It works fine as a back-up or travel camera for going to grandma's (which is how we use it). But I highly recommend spending more on a higher quality camera for every day use. The picture is grainy, the power cord is short and I can't set it as high up as I would like, and the audio constantly cuts in and out so that I cannot hear what my kids are saying when they try to talk to me.***UPDATE: I bought this in April and it broke in August. It was working fine during my kid's nap when suddenly the screen went white. No amount of turning it off and on again will get the screen to work again. It no longer even shows the start-up screen when turning it off and on...bright white is all the screen now shows. Bummed it only worked for 4 months. Downgraded from a 4 star review to 1 star.UPDATE #2: This camera does have a year warranty. When I contacted the seller directly they let me return the camera directly to them (I did have to pay return shipping) and replaced it with a new camera. So far it seems to be working again as an okay back-up/travel camera. So I bumped up my review to 3 stars. Hope this camera lasts a little longer. Happy the seller was willing to work with me.

THIS IS THE DUMBEST MONITOR IN THE HISTORY OF BABY MONITORS. WHY? Every single time you turn it on or off it plays an impeccably LOUD little jingle. A happy little jingle that on several occasions as woken the baby! Has caused our child to wake from a deep sleep only to embark on a reign of terroir thanks to a nap cut short. The engineer responsible for this idiotic glitch obviously: 1) never had a child 2) is hopefully fired by now 3) is insane. Don’t buy this thing. Get a different model that doesn’t play a dumb jingle you can’t turn off.

It was great and worked for about a week and a half then out of no where the receiver started to shut off on its own in the middle of the night. After the 3rd night, in a row, of it shutting off like that I stopped using it. I would wake up to either my 6 year old telling me her sisters crying ( they share a room) or to my baby crying so hard and loud that she's almost making herself sick. Very disappointed in this product. It was one of those to good too be true type things I guess. The price was to good to be true. They also have horrible customer service. When I called to try and get replacement the representative hung up on me. Do not buy this!!!!

I have used this monitor for daily naps and nights for two years this May. It’s not the greatest quality picture but it gets the job done. The only reason I gave 4 stars is after about a year it wouldn’t stay charged unless plugged in. Unfortunately tonight, after almost two years, it officially won’t turn on anymore. Happy for the use we got out of it!

I really like this monitor! It is very simple and the video quality is very good. It was easy to figure out, just plug them both in and it automatically connects. The feature to turn music on and talk through it is amazing! I can't see why anyone would need to buy a more expensive one.

Worked fine for the first couple months and now all of a sudden it won't turn on. Very disappointed in this product. I would not recommend

This thing sucks.. like really bad..DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY every few seconds there is a loud sound coming from the speaker when the room is completely silent and the video quality really sucks. If I had known my wife spend $50 on this I would have returned it the first day. whoever sells this should just be ashamed of selling such a horrible products. we really bought it and I hate it..

I've only had this monitor for 5 months & it's terrible. Half the time it just turns off on its own, or loses sound & now all of a sudden the screen is not even watchable! Poorly made product-disappointed . This is what the screen currently looks like. Blurry with lines across it, can not even see my child!
