Small but very useful.
I bought this mini heat press for small DIY projects and it works really well. It heats up fast and is easy to handle because of its size. I like that it’s perfect for small designs and areas where a regular iron is too big. It’s lightweight and comfortable to use, especially for beginners. So far, it’s been very useful and does exactly what I need.

Mini iron for craft projects
Very cute little iron. It's a little bit smaller than l expected with no heat control. But it will work fine for my craft projects.

Cheap, stops working.
Stopped working 30 days after the return window closed. It took forever to warm up and it barely melted the perler beads - and now it doesn’t get warm at all. I tried troubleshooting on the website and got nowhere. Don’t waste your money.

Gets the job done!
I'm a crafty mom with a silhouette and a traditional heat press. I mostly craft shirts with HTV for my kids' sporting events (etc). I wanted to make my son a backpack for his traveling sports team. I tried to use my traditional iron to get the job done - but ended up melting one of the flaps because it was just too big and bulky to maneuver around the flaps and straps. Enter the search for something smaller. PROS: - SIZE - This teeny little iron can easily get into really tough to reach places and around hooks, clips and plastic parts that would melt under traditional heat press. - COST - I wasn't really ready to shell out $50-100 for a small heat press. This thing got the job done at a price point under $10. - EFFECTIVE - Bottom line - It worked. Even though the handle isn't sturdy - I preferred to use my thumb and index finger to put pressure on both the front and the back of the iron to make sure my HTV was really stuck. CONS: - HANDLE - the little plastic handle is SUPER weak to call this iron a "heat press." If you put any pressure on it (and you must to adhere HTV to your surface) - it snaps off. Eventually, it will break off completely. I quickly found the work around was to use your thumb and index finger and put pressure on both the front and back of the iron mimicking a traditional heat press. It wasn't perfect - but it worked. - VARIED TEMPERATURE - This little thing definitely gets hot in a hurry. That said, I did find the temperature really varied over the 20-30 minutes I spent using it to adhere my HTV to the backpack. It worked ok - but the trick was to make sure I exposed the entire design to every angle of the iron. - CORD - The cord is tiny. The thing from plug to plug is only 36 inches so an extension cord was a MUST. OVERALL OPINION: Honestly - I'd buy it again. For me, the pros outweighed the cons and it got the job done for under $10. It's cute and easy to use and perfect for small crafting projects. It's quick and easy to heat and stores away nicely in a drawer taking up almost zero space. I'm usually making one or two things at a time. If I was making backpacks for the whole team - I'd need to invest in an actual heat press instead of a 4 inch baby iron. But if you only have one or two things to make - this thing will work just great!
