Old India Dandelion Root Cut (Coffee/ Tea) 250g

I buy these dandelion root cut for making a tea. I've read that they are really good for your health, especially for your stomache and livers. The tea arrived quite quick and well packed so thumbs up for that! The quality was really good as I've tried this tea from other suppliers in the past, but this was much better and my health has improved after using it. The taste is quite bitter, you would not want to drink it just for your own pleasure I guess, but if you want to feel better, definetely go for it!

As some other reviewers pointed out, this is Not Roasted Dandelion Root. I've bought and used Roasted Dandelion Root for Coffee several times from other sellers and enjoyed it. From the last seller I bought it, it has nearly doubled in price, so I gave this a go, Firstly, it's not roasted, it's raw, dried, but raw. So, I thought I'd give it a go as tea. I don't like the taste or smell, it's awful. Next, I spread some in an oven tray and roasted it myself. After about 45mins the colour looked great, just like the Dandelion Coffee I've used before. I made a coffee with it, yuck! Absolute yuck! Once again, the smell and taste were awful! It did have a slight flavour of Dandelion Coffee, very slight. Overalll though completely yuck! No returns accepted on this item! So I went in chat and was given a full refund! Conclusion - Crap product. Great Customer Service from Amazon!

Great product, very good for you and glad I tried it. Not the company's fault at all, the product is great, but the taste isn't what I thought, very bitter, so I mix it to make my own chai tea, very nice.

I actually like this product after soaking for a few minutes in warm water. Put a little honey in once, but prefer natural taste.

Bought this item as I’d searched for ‘roasted Dandelion root coffee’ and this came up. However when it arrived it wasn’t roasted and doesn’t take anything like the dandelion coffee I’ve grown to love drinking. When I’ve looked at the item description it now doesn’t say anything about being roasted. So I’m confused, did I click on the wrong thing or have they changed the description since I purchased? As I’m almost 100% sure I purchased carefully to make sure I got roasted.. I’ve tried roasting it myself which is a faff but improves the taste somewhat. But it’s tricky getting the roasting time right and roasting it evenly. Basically not what I searched for/expected and doesn’t really hit the spot sadly. Massive bag to work through now... :-/
