No frills. Made in USA. Does the job. Good chunck of steel.
I'm pretty picky about my tools. I don't want the super cheap ones that will break but I also don't want a tool anywhere near me that costs so much just because of the name stamped on them. (Festool and Snap-On are about the worst). Tools are made to be used. This bar is good, simple and strong and sold at a fair price. Use it, abuse it, put it away wet and do it again the next day.

Superior Quality for the Right Price
I constantly buy Vaughan tools as I know the quality of these tools never misses. It’s perfect for what I need to use it for. Right size to slide right into my tool pouch, without being too bulky. Exactly what I am looking for in this tool. Bonus points for being Made in America

Durable useful and stands up to heavy use
Pro contractor, I have had it for over 4 years now, still in great shape, very durable steel, perfect size for remodeling jobs although it's good to have some different sizes. I have had other brands that broke or wore down quickly. I trust Vaughan for this tool.

Gets under nails easy, tooth chipped off after a year of constant use.
Love this cats paw. Sharp teeth get in the wood and under the nail head real easy! We work on residential remodels from demo to finish work. So there's alot of nail pulling. Had it for almost a year and I did chip a tooth completely off. But I was trying to get under a sinker that was connected to a steel bracket.

Did not last long, broke quickly.
Both sides were broken 20 minutes into the job.

Good grinding on tips
Very nicely made. I like the precision and even grinding on the tips as compared to others in a similar price range. Works great.

Another great Made in USA product. I got a great center punch this week from Meyhew who I was not familiar with but they're also US made and I recommend checking them out. Vaughan is top notch, been using their hammers for 30 years.

pulling nails out just the right size

The overall strength seems fine but I was pretty disappointed with the top claw manufacturing because I know every time I pull a nail with this bar I’m going to have to take that extra second to compensate for the uneven claw lengths and thicknesses. It may not seem too bad, but when I am pulling hundreds of nails over the course of many years of work I can already see myself buying a better one right away.

Top Teil Da ich meinen beiden Voughan Framinghämmern mit holzstielen nicht unbedingt ständig die Gewalt von Abbruch und ausziehen von Nägeln antun möchte hab ich mich für ein solch tolles nageleisen entschieden . Da man auf der Rückseite extra einen Punkt hat auf den man mit dem hammer schlagen kann hat sie die deutschen Formen bei mir aus dem toolbelt verbannt Klare Kaufempfehlung
