how big is this cot when folded up? I drive a car to the mountains, not a van or truck.

It's about 40 inches long and about 10x10inches when closed. Its not bad - it fits easily in our car with a ton of luggage. We really like it. I used it as a guest bed the other day and they really liked it to - granted it was a 13 year old boy but still... I didn't measure it so the 6x5 is entirely possible!
