Pivot Disc
This item saved the day at our house. It was recommended by my mother's physical therapist. She was unable to function with her walking skills and with this item, we are able to "pivot" her into her wheel chair, and then again back into her recliner. It was a great purchase!!! We like the 15" disc since it allows us plenty of room to get around her when transferring her and it is plenty big enough for her feet.

NOT THE DISC SHOWN IN THE PICTURE, Do NOT BUY
The disc they show in the picture is a very well made product, that makes for a smooth transfer, which is why you find them in a lot of Physical therapy offices, most likely why this seller used it for the picture. What they send you is a inferior product that doesn't spin very well, but if you really want to try it buy directly from amazon cause its a lot cheaper.

much too difficult to transfer someone using this product.
i used this product to transfer my wife from bed to wheelchair to car, barely spins with someone on it, my wife weighs 170.

Perfect helper
I purchased this for my inlaws who are in an extended care facility. She has been in a wheelchair for 13 years and this has made it very easy to transfer her from chair to chair, bed, toilet...

Very disappointed; not possible to return either
This product was not good. You have to be more coordinated to use it than my grandmother with dementia and her 69-year-old daughter who was helping her. They could not get grandma's feet on the wheel properly so it never worked. They kept trying to make it work so the 30 days is up and I cannot return it.

The disk is very hard to make turn The user only weighs 120 lbs We are not very pleased with the way it works.
