Highly recommend! Snakes LOVE to get in our swimming pool and around our house due to the ponds and fields however when I put this out I have no worries about snakes. It doesn't smell good but it is worth it to keep them away. Do not put out before rain or it will not last as long.

It is truly very smelly as many reviews said. Hopefully it repels snakes away with that smell!!

Smells like moth balls when you first lay it down, but that smell goes away after a day or so. Its tough to prove its working, but we've been using it off and on for years and when we don't lay it down, we tend to get garter snakes in the yard - if I put this out around the areas they tend to visit, we don't get them any longer.

Also repels armadillos, feral cats, skunks, as well as snakes. Just spread it out like fertilizer in flower beds and yard.
