They work super well for my art class! They don’t smudge and are very easy to use.

I use these pencils to annotate family photographs because they do not do anything to damage the photos. They are archival style pencils. They are also good for sketching and drawing

Comes with a nice variety of soft to hard. Comfortable with non-roll-away edges on the pencils. Superb for lines or smooth shading. Especially love the soft 6B for dramatic bold sketches. Great quality and $$$ value. BEST of all - nice sturdy tin to keep them in for traveling or taking them along for outdoor sketching or indoor art play. Definitely worth it.
