Fish/ Sea based fertilizers are typically 25x more expensive than conventional fertilizers. Besides cost, the effectiveness/ performance of a sea based fertilizer is that plants can synthesize the nutrients quicker, and taking less energy to do so. (Also they typically contain additional nutrients plants would love to have outside of the traditional NPK, as well as some of the best sources of npk macronutrients) But most of these fertilizers are solution based and if your aware of fox farm prices on dirt alone, u know how high these fishy add in prices can go. Ok so the smell. Yeah it’s fishy. Sorta. But I sprinkled these around the base of my roses and I haven’t smelled anything besides well … *Roses* I used an old measuring cup set and took out the 1/4 cup and I spread it out around the inner but outter edge of the bushes base avoiding where the plant meets the soil. This application can last me 3-4 weeks depending on rain- and again on smell, in Atlanta in 2024, we have had torrential downpours and rain. - no smell. I have a soaker hose irrigation system and again no smell, Atlanta has had a few consecutive 100+ days and again no smell. As for the rose bushes, I am 6ft 2 and my one rose called Playboy, it’s a compact bush normally growing to be 2-3 feet tall, well, my bush towers almost 7ft tall. I am very happy with the cost, even with the smaller bag, it will last me the rest of the summer, and I have about 15 or so rose bushes planted at the moment. I do also buy the other products this company also produces, They are also extremely good. And I am saved on my wallet, before I found this product I was spending 5 times as much and, I’m just not getting results I expect.

This organic fertilizer works wonders, my blueberry bush was dying after we transferred it into the ground, all the leaves were turning brown and it was drying out. Now it has turned back around, and I see new growth everyday, new leaves and it’s coming back to life. See before and after pics.

When we first moved in our house 10 years ago it had a full raspberry patch. Over time we neglected it and it wasn't producing much. Last year I planted two new raspberry plants, and then at the begining of this summer I planted 4 more and did a big cleanup of the area. I wasn't expecting too much from the new ones because they were planted late but they are growing great. The newest ones haven't produced berries yet but I didn't expect them to this year. This mix brought life back to the older plants and they are starting to produce beautiful berries. Would definitely purchase again.

My zinnias were doing so poorly, I almost yanked them out and called it quits. Between the lack of rain, below average temps, and the invasion of Japanese beetles, I almost walked away. Then I ordered a bag of this and threw it in-between rows, didn't even work it in, and the following 2 weeks, these flowers are pushing 4 feet tall, with the biggest blossoms ever, some with double blooms! Yes, it has a very earthy, ripe smell, but read the ingredients!! All natural, no chemicals, and very reasonably priced. Beats all the name brands, and other sprays and pellets I've bought. I'm very pleased.

True organic is a great fertilizer.

I'm no expert gardener. I am so DIY, my entire garden is on a second floor balcony. But I absolutely noticed a change when I added this to my soil. I'm growing herbs, veggies, and one pepper this year. Every single plant has loved this mix and has thrived on it. The smell isn't the greatest obviously by my plants are outside so it faded pretty quickly. It brought a Home Depot snapdragon completely back to life. I have stray cats that stop at my garden for a snack, so I needed something nontoxic, and boy am I IMPRESSED. Again, this is only my fourth year gardening, but I see a lifelong relationship in our future ♥

Used as directed but had no really results in increased blooms. Wouldn't recommend this. There are actually other product NOT Labeled as bloom boosting that work better.

Great product! Has naturally increased my berry production.
