Oohhh. Chose the wrong selection here - this item is worthless, does not fit the Aeropress properly! Cannot secure in place and if you do, good luck prying it back off! Piece of junk!

I just went to go make my first cup since losing the cap and after a a minute if brewing all the coffee just fell into my cup. Turns out the cap wasn't sealed because it doesn't fit. It's too small or too tight for the aeropress but not enough that you realize it while making coffee. You can't turn it on all the way. I thought it was just tight but it really just doesn't fit.

I purcased this as a replacement part for my AeroPress coffee maker. It fits perfectly.

It would slide on the the end, but was too tight to get fully on and definitely too tight to turn and lock into place. I got it going by buzzing it out with a Dremel tool, but now the filters are sticking in it when disposing of grounds. I tried it on old and new aeropress, same bad fit on both.

Doesn't fit. Almost impossibe to get on and once you do, nearly impossible to get off. Even once its linedup after use, you have to poke it off from the inside to get it off, which results in coffee grinds flying about. I'm afraid it would ruin the Aeropress if I use it again.

It doesn't fit the rest of my aero press very well. Difficult to get on and off. I think it's 3d printed. Not original. Taking it on and off is a battle of strength.

This piece went missing while I was on vacation. I found the missing piece on Amazon so I purchased one. It doesn’t fit properly and it doesn’t hold the filter in place. So you wind up wasting expensive coffee because the coffee grinds wind up in your cup

The cap diameter is perhaps 1mm too small -- it does not fit correctly on to the aeropress cylinder. I can force it on with my bodyweight, but this means it is completely impossible to turn & lock into position. It will then shift when pressing, which of course means that the coffee won't filter properly.I've got two aeropress bodies -- an older GO and a newer standard model -- it doesn't fit on either.

It was too tight - they need to fix this issue and haven't as of Mar 28th, 2023. I used a dremel tool to wear away some of the inner diameter to make it fit since returning was not worth the effort.
