And this book is easy to read, full of insights and lots of ideas on how to be emotionally more mature. Read it, and gift it to your friends. Must read.
The content and quality of writing is sublime. Alain De Botton continues to enthral with his comprehensive and succinct writing to unpack some of the most important yet deeply knotty issues that continues to elude us even today. Reading his books and every other book by the school of life feels liberating and enlightening. A must read for everybody! The print and quality of pages however should’ve been much better considering Penguin!

Tough but important read
It has all the lessons that school does not teach you and after every page, you wonder why. It surely is a tough read, some sections may need repetitive reading to fully comprehend, but after few struggles you know it will be worth it.

Good yet something is missing. Written by too many people (19 in all), this book lacks an authorial integrity. But it does raise very pertinent questions and answers them too.

Timeless Wisdom
An education for life. You can flip it open and read any chapter without necessarily reading in a liner sequence, and you'd still take something away from it. It's insightfully, funny and deeply meaningful. It's written in a tone that is relatable and not alienating. It's timeless.
