Works ok but a bit fiddly to adjust with gloves on but a cheaper option than paying for electronic cruise control

Had to use a rubber wrap, the ring you get will not stretch at all and I couldn't get it over my grip ends. Tried a few throttle lock controls that just didn't get me anywhere different than the stock knob on my bike. So I gave this style a shot and loved it. I'm glad I bought this one because of how the clamping force is adjusted. It takes a little while to get used to using it and having it on your hand grip, but it's worth it. It's so much faster and easier to use than my throttle lock. I do a lot of riding with others that have actual cruise, and I can set this as fast as they can set theirs. It's also a lot more accurate and easy to make slight speed adjustments than my throttle lock. I can use it with heavy gloves on as well. If you're on the fence about this, it's worth it.

I've got Carpal tunnel syndrome and arthritis really bad in my hands. It has made riding my motorcycles very unpleasant. I had 2 choices, either quit riding or resolve to riding only big cruisers with cruise control installed. Then I remembered having something similar to this when I was much younger and went on a search. So far I have purchased 5 different versions of these devices. This particular one does what it says it does, it will help hold the throttle to maintain speed and be able to give my right hand a short break. While this functions as advertised it does have one small issue that is worth mentioning. It is almost impossible to tighten while wearing gloves. While this is a small issue that rarely caused an issue its an issue all the same. The small adjusting wheel is easy to use with un-gloved hands and doesn't really require frequent readjustment after its initially set assuming you don't have foam grips. I installed this on a 2021 Honda CBR300R with stock grips and it worked great.

Not sure if there was a way to make it work better on my bike. I own a Kawasaki Z900RS. After installing the rubber sleeve, I tried the cruise on my bike while it was off & sitting static. It seemed to work. I rolled on the throttle, placed the cruise lever on the sleeve & tightened it down till it gripped. It held but when I tried it in real use, it allows the throttle to slowly roll off. I tried tightening the cruise lever so it gripped more. But that would eventually allow the throttle to roll off too. I couldn't make the cruise lever any tighter (it had used all the threads). I could have tried to work out some kind of fix to increase the diameter of my throttle grip. But when I looked closer at the sleeve, the rubber was already cracked & failing. Pair this with the grip on the cruise lever being to open, I decided it wasn't worth the hassle. Now, this is my experience with this cruise set up. Which might be diff on another brand or model. And, hopefully you find it works well on your bike. It just didn't work for my application.
