Improve your work
This embroidery hoop holder has made a great improvement in my ability to do cross stitching with much less discomfort in my hands due to arthritis. I hadn't done any kind of embroidery for years, so when I began a small design I was surprised to find that holding the hoop caused enough discomfort to make me give up after a few minutes. I remembered that I had purchased a device years ago to use to repair quilts which sat on my lap so I could use both hands for the needlework. Well, I looked on Amazon and here was a comparable device for a hoop. It works perfectly.

Hand and finger saver!
It was very easy to put together. It doesn't come with instructions but, the listing pictures on Amazon include one that shows how to put it together. I used it on my couch last night. Set the board under my leg, made the appropriate adjustments and it was so nice to have a hand free. You will need to flip it over to see the back to make knots etc but if your adjustments are right, you can easily flip it front to back. The hoop is staying on it tight so far. I will update the review if I have issues in the future but so far, it is great!

Perfect, with only one small flaw.
I really like this stand, however, the knob that holds the actual hoop loosens very easily, so I constantly have to tighten it for the hoop not to fall. The adjustment options are easy to use and perfect height options.

This embroidery hoop stand is GREAT!
I was looking for a way to improve the quality of my embroidery stitches. This stand is just what I needed. Not only are my stitches neater, I can sew faster. Because I don't have to hold the hoop, I can sew easily with both hands working together. This stand has made stitching more fun to do! I recommend you get one.

Flimsy
While it's assembly is pretty easy, it's also flimsy and any real pressure while using it will cause the hoop to slip from it's clasp. The screws that's that hold the hoop and it's joints in place are adjustable are also made of a semi weak wood in my opinion, so when you try to secure it it loosens or doesn't get tight enough. I had to do personal modifications with metal screws and apoxy to make it functional. Overall, I made it work but if you don't want to put in the extra work to make it work I wouldn't recommend.

Game changer
With severe RA, doing pretty much anything is painful. This has not only made it possible for me to embroider comfortably, (often in my recliner) my handwork is turning out better tan ever. Being able to adjust it to any height and angle has made it easy and enjoyable again

Ehh not the best
The screws on mine personally don’t tighten enough to hold my projects in place. It’s always slipping out or wiggling as i tried to work. The screws just don’t fit well.I also had wooden splinters sucking out of mine in many places, like the holes the screws were suppose to go. It just wasn’t what i expected out of it.

Tabletop Workhorse
So very easy to assemble. Adjusting the different angles are so easy to do plus you can turn your work over to look at the reverse side without having to take it out of the hoop. Very nice wood.
