Passed my inspection
Passed my inspection for equipotential bonding of my family’s pool. The two main priorities for my review are function and fit. The kit comes with two different plug sizes so I wasn’t worried about fit, it went in just fine for the pump drain. The kit comes with 2 O-rings for a solid seal. I didn’t have to tighten down the drain plug very much at all and it has ZERO LEAKS. Only time will tell as to the longevity of the product and whether or not it ever will (likely yes). This kit saved me hundreds of dollars in not having to hire an electrician for what was a very simple install (I will admit being overwhelmed before starting). If you’re getting a pool installed above or in-ground, do yourself a favor and just grab this kit because it honestly is a no-brainer for the typical DIY homeowner.

Best way to bond the pool water
Best way to bond the "pool water" easy install passed for the code enforcement. Mounts into drain plug for the pool pump

Quick and Clean
We do the electrical installations for dozens of pools during the summer months and this is the easiest pool bond we have worked with. The best thing about it is the installer does not have to run the conductor up the side of the pool creating that look the customer hates no matter how straight and pretty you make it. This eliminates any copper running to the pool skimmer and keeps everything down low. Out of sight. Out of mind. Takes about 15 minutes to install if you are trying to milk the clock. I did one in 7 minutes. Compliant in our area with the local AHJ and their requirements for ART 680 NEC 2020 (If you don't know what that is don't attempt to bond or wire your pool).

Neither drain plug seems to fit properly.
The shorter of the two drain plugs sort of fit. The longer of the two seems to work best but you have to find just the right amount of turns to make the water stop leaking out. The plug will just continue to turn and will begin to leak. Using this on a Hayward 1 HP POWER-FLO PUMP Model Number SP1580TL.

Great product and great seller!
Passed inspection with no problems. Actually provides a larger surface area touching the water than NEC requires. Easy to install with no drilling! The plug I needed broke when tightening so I contacted the seller. They sent me a replacement quickly with no hassle. That is great customer service! Thank you!
