Looks like these little guys are starting a comeback. Bought this for my wife as trying to put music on her Apple Igay has become a pain in the ars so she went back to this and CDs. Doesn't regreat it one bit.

Works great! My sister is autistic and likes CD’s and collects them, she loves music but doesn’t really like electronics.It’s durable, she is accident prone and it’s held up for over 6 months now!The color is just as described, no chips or imperfections.The sound quality and everything is good, especially if you use decent headphones!It’s easy to figure out so I’d definitely recommend for kids or people who have issues with comprehending simple tasks.My only thumbs down, is that it takes AAA batteries. They’re just a little inconvenient for us, but even then, Amazon fits us covered :)

It plays smoothly but skips when gently tapped. Decent quality and not bluetooth connectable. It has decent battery life too. I would recommend to anyone who wants to spend less money to listen to cd’s

The unit is made of cheap plastic. There is no anti-skip. The buttons are clicky at least, but still feel cheap. The worst part is how noisy it is. The amp and DAC are not isolated or shielded from the rest of the device, so you hear the disc spinning and lots of static. There are no other features besides basic programmability, and a few play modes. The barebones featureset was why I wanted to try this product out, however, it is disappointing.**1 month update**I increased to 3 stars because I think the 2 stars was a bit harsh. It works, it's fine. The main issue is the noise, I think now, this is not because the amp + DAC are bad, but the amp is not attenuated for use with headphones. So if you can find an in-line volume attenuator, it will sound very clean. Still, that means you have to buy something else for a good experience, and the lack of antiskip means you can't use it on-the-go.

Works great even though I replaced the ear buds with headphones. They are easier to listen to in bed. This CD player replaces the same kind I've had for years. I think I just wore it out. This new one is great. Thanks, guys.

Excellent product. It was an expected request from my daughter who never owned a CF player of any kind to listen to albums she had received recently. She was totally satisfied and worked perfectly!

Stopped working after playing 1 CD.I needed to edit this review because the reason it stopped working was my mistake.The reason I give it 4 stars is because the earphones are very cheap.
