Well worth the money
I’m not using this product for paint. I use this product to filter my rain water that I collect in 5 gallon jugs for my plants. These nets are very sturdy easy to put on and the quality is A1. They definitely fit 5 gallon jugs. The elastic is great quality after the fact that they are on 5 gallon buckets in the rain and sun. I have been using this product now for a few months. No complaints!

Grass Seed Pre-Germination
I saw a video on YouTube that recommended picking these up for grass seed pre-germination. Basically you fill with seed then alternate 12 hour shifts submerging the seed in water in a bucket. These work perfect for it - they hold the seed well, are very sturdy, yet the holes are small enough to keep the seed in and large enough to drain the water well.

Lawn Seed Germination perfect
Over seeding the lawn and this was perfect to get the seeds to germinate in water. Refuseable and great price, durable and worked like I needed it to.

It takes a while for grass seed to grow.
I tried them on a 5 gallon bucket and they were a little tight, but they did fit. So I added grass seed without them being attached to the bucket. When it started out, I had to put a little bit of a weight on the bag to hold it down until it was filled with water. Otherwise it would float to the top, and some of it would not be covered with water. The first batch I did it didn’t look like the grass seed had really germinated after three days. But I broke up the ground and put it in on the broke up ground and within about three or four days it started to germinate and it is growing well. I did not have to put any straw or anything else on top of it. I just watered it every day and now it’s filling and very nicely. I am trying a second bag now and I am changing the water almost daily to see if it germinates a little better but I’ve had it going for about five or six days now and I still have not seen where the grass seeds are starting to be growing inside the bag yet. So I’m gonna give it a few more days and then I’ll cut it open and put it in the ground and we’ll see if the germinates a little faster. If it does, I’ll update this review.

Not used for straing paint; instead used for germinating grass seed.
I bought this item to use for germinating grass seed and it worked quite well. Appears to be a sturdy fabric and for my purpose I was able to clean it and re-use it. I suppose you could put it over your head and keep bugs away but haven't tried that. So I don't know how well it strains paint.

There are worth it. I use them for seed germination
Used for grass seed germination. The seeds sprout after several days inside the 5-gallon bucket of water.

Used as grass seed pregerminator
I use the strainer bags for pre-germination of grass seed. They work perfectly for that purpose. Don't see why they wouldn't be great for paint as well.

I grabbed this 5-gallon paint strainer bag to filter old latex paint from a bucket that had settled and formed lumps, and it made a huge difference in getting a flawless finish on walls and trim. The fine white mesh catches all the debris, flakes, and thickened bits while letting smooth paint flow through quickly when poured over a bucket or paint stick.

These are the same quality as I’ve purchased from paint supply stores for more. I recommend these.

For me it's a brew filter. Goes onto a 20 litre pail with out any trouble. Removes (collects) the barley and rye dregs after mashing and / or after fermentation. The pore size does let some material through but the results for me are great. I picked the suppler with the 25 bags for the price and number. I'm still working on a better way to wash the filter bag so that a number to uses could be reached. The filter is stitched along the outer edge and it gives it a nice shape to fit in the 20 litre pails. Works great for my needs.
