I bought this to be able to make perfectly round eggs, and it works great for that. Same thickness as the larger De Buyer steel pans.

Robust, solid and excellent quality. It is weenie but big enough to fry an egg or a drop scone. I treasure it as it's size limits the amount of frying in my diet and the smell of frying in the kitchen.
