Bought this because at some point we ran out of salt which is apparently a problem when you are cooking. It is salt and it does exactly what salt is supposed to do. Good texture, easy to use, and the container lasts a long time. I have used it on everything from eggs to roasted vegetables and nobody has complained yet, which is usually the official test in our house.
