There good enough for listening
If you are looking at these because of the price then you may need them like me and know I won't be vibrating windows and letting people on the opposite side of the interstate listen to my music as we pass but they are not bad and fit good

PLANET AUDIO IS THE REAL DEAL!
** 3.5" DOES NOT FIT A 2004-2007 SCION XB DASH SPEAKER PORT. THE FLANGE IS NOT WIDE ENOUGH TO REACH BOTH FASTEN POINTS. YOU WILL HAVE TO MOCK SOMETHING UP BUT IT IS DOABLE!I was skeptical when I purchased the 3.5" pair of speakers as replacements for the OEM ... I didn't expect much for the price. Wow, was I wrong! Taking them out of the box they look like mini sub woofers!! Huge magnet and run at 4ohm. I wish I would have took a side by side picture of these vs the OEM'S I replaced ... Its not even close! As for the sound ... I'm impressed so far. They have a nice punch on the mid bass side enhanced with vocal clarity from the tweeter on it. I just bought a touch screen head unit that I will be installing soon as well as replacing the other 4 OEM speakers. But for now I'm convinced that PLANET AUDIO is the real deal! I purchased a pair of 5" two way speakers as well. Installing those in a few days. I also purchased a pair of 6.5" for the doors, that are a very popular name brand(RF) ... Needless to say I opened that box, looked at them and set up a return immediately! I then purchased the PLANT AUDIO BIG BANG 6.5" instead! I can't wait to get it all installed! I would recommend PLANT AUDIO products. I honestly feel like I've underpaid! Hope this review helps as I rely on them heavily before making purchases!

Cheap speakers for those who dont care
Bought this for my commuter 2012 Nissan Sentra. Doesnt have crazy stereo or anything but just needed to replace the blown stock speakers. These were at a low cost so thought to try. They are pretty cheaply made and wires provided are way to thin for 500w speaker. Ended up using my own. I had to cut away some of the factory plastic mount to fit in front doors but wasnt big deal. Rear fit was perfect. Sound is ok but I wasnt looking for best in show so these will do.

Good replacement, will add a lot of treble and removes a lot of midrange.
These speakers are great. I bought the 3.5” and installed them in my 98 Sebring with no fix meant issues. The tweeter sticks out 1/2 inch from the top of the speaker. You should know that at one time when I was much younger in my 20s, I had a competition stereo. Sound quality was what I was after, not bass. These speakers deliver well on capability. I will attempt to explain this sound… If you are replacing a set of worn out paper cone speakers, you will notice a big difference in sound. The high frequencies (treble) are much more prominent and bright, and most of the mid range frequencies where you would normally hear vocal sounds are quite diminished. This is probably due to the stiff thick rubber surround. There is no bass, nor should there be. The speaker is too small for that. For the price you get two speakers, with rubber magnet protectors and connecting wire. The wire is VERY thin, and the connectors on the speaker are fragile / cardboard. This seems to be where some cost savings come from.

Half step above factory
Decently made but quality of stock speakers. Maybe a half step above. Don't expect alot.

Works in my 2003 Chevy Silverado 1500 WT with base factory radio.
Works in my 2003 Chevy Silverado 1500 WT, standard cab with base factory radio. These fit into the rear side panels. You will need to drill holes to mount the speakers since the factory speakers just snap in, which is a nifty design to reduce installation time and production costs. The included screws will not tap or "bite" into the sheet metal, so you either need to drill holes slightly larger than the included screws and use the included tabs (which can be a hassle, imo) to mount the speakers, or use self-tapping screws, which is the route I went.Sound - They are being driven by the upgraded factory radio, which is a JVC KD-X330BTS and they sound great, IMO. If you plan to use these in a system that has a 10 inch or larger subwoofer, then you'll want to bump up the supplied wattage with an amplifier suited for the RMS wattage these speakers can handle. In case the price didn't give it away, these aren't high-end speakers.
