Time Capsule: A seriously awesome kid's journal Diary – January 5, 2016

Don't get me wrong, the book is awesome. It has lots of fun stuff in it!The problem is, after reading the reviews I bought this for my 8 year old, but many of the questions and prompts are too advanced for this age. It's more aimed at 12+ in my opinion.I'm putting it back for when the child is older.

I think this would be great to do as a 9-12 year old and then pull it out for high school graduation.

I used this journal as a tool for my 10 year old to earn screen time in the summer! Very thought provoking prompts that allowed my son to express himself in many ways when responding.

I bought this for my son's 9th birthday. It is super cute and looks like it will make a fun keepsake. I plan on getting another one for my 11 year old daughter (even though the cover makes it look like it's geared towards boys). It works just as well for girls as it does for boys. It's full of fun little questions that kids like to answer. I would have preferred a hardcover but this paperback feels well made.

My 5 year old, who is creative and smart, just loved this book. He started filling in the pages on the day he got it and couldn't wait to read his entries to me. I got the bonus of more interaction with my kid. Anything that directs kids away from devices and into their imagination is worth every penny.

This is a perfect way to capture your kid's life in a moment of time. Good price point. Good size.

Great journal for kids! Depending on their level of reading and writing it could be filled out all on their own or as a fun activity with a parent. The story about how the author got her inspiration for the title and for her love of journaling is in the first few pages and it's lovely! It made me get out my journals from childhood and reminisce. This is a great way to get your kids into a great activity that will last a lifetime.

My 9 year old niece lived this book

This is an amazing journal for little kids to jot down the things that mean the most to them. It is a great way to record the personality of your child in a book that you can keep forever. It allows us to peek into the working of our child's imaginative mind. It keeps kids busy and flexes their writing skills, all while allowing for introspection. Highly recommend. I got this for a 9-year-old and she loves it.
